Join the party
If clubbing appeals, go east towards ‘The Strip’ on Avenida Dr Francisco Sa Carneiro. For a more relaxed night out, head to the Old Town.
Relish the beaches
The Algarve has many beautiful, Blue Flag-certified beaches, and you’re really spoilt for choice in Albufeira. Two nearby gems include lengthy Praia da Falésia and rugged Praia de São Rafael.
Visit an adventure park
The area is home to lots of water and adventure parks, and a day spent zip-lining through the canopy or whooshing down water slides is sure to please the whole family.
