"The hotel is in good location, easy access to supermarkets, shops or old town with walking distance. The hotel also has the service to drop you off in old town - 3 times a day. The pools was nice, clean with plenty of sunbed surrounding."

"I have just returned from a week stay at The Holiday Inn. I had previously stayed at this hotel when it was called The Real Bellavista and wondered how it would be under the new name. I arrived before 3.00pm and was informed our room was not ready however, if we waited half an hour it would be ready which was a bonus. Reception staff in particular Omar was very helpful. The decor and room has changed since The Holiday Inn has taken over however, the beds were comfortable and the cleaners cleaned every day throughout our stay. Bar and restaurant staff were also very friendly. Breakfast is standard with a buffet choice for everyone and can get quite busy at peak times. There is a Starbucks on site however this was not in working order. There is an outdoor and indoor pool with enough sunbeds. I did use the sauna and steam room where towels were provided. The shuttle bus which operates from the hotel was not working however, the hotel laid on a smaller car to transport to Old and new town at scheduled times. We decided not to take this as Old Town is 20 minutes walk from the hotel. Ubers are cheap and I would use this mainly in the evening after returning from old/new town. Easy access to beach right at the end of New Town where you can also see the caves. I enjoyed my short break and would return and stay at The Holiday Inn"

"Highly recommend this hotel. I’ve just come back from staying here for 4 nights Monday - Friday with my partner, and booked with Jet2. The hotel is in a perfect location away from the main roads, 5 minutes walk to Albufeira Terrace where there is a large supermarket and food outlets, and a 15 minute walk each way to the Old Town and The Strip. There is a tourist train from the Terrace which costs €6 each for all day travel or a taxi rank outside. Taxis cost us no more than €5 each time. The hotel is very clean, and our room was serviced every day with fresh towels and the bed made. Air-con was brilliant and we also had a balcony which overlooked the pool. Facilities are great, 2 main pools, 2 smaller pools round the side and an indoor pool. There is also a bar in the outside area for drinks. There was music played each day around the pool which was a nice touch. Restaurant was clean and modern, breakfast was included every day but we only ate this one. Great range of food choices and the pastries were delicious. Staff were all very friendly, and there was a complimentary shuttle service to the old town 3 times a day from the hotel reception at 10am, 2pm and 6pm. The hotel has recently been renovated and taken over by Holiday Inn. We have no complaints at all and I am struggling to understand why some people have left negative reviews. I would highly recommend this hotel and we are looking at coming back next year and booking the same hotel."
