Hurghada Long Beach Resort

"We booked this hotel based on all the great reviews, though we noticed a few bad ones popping up the week before we arrived. Sadly, those bad reviews were completely right. The first two days were amazing, but after that, everything started to slide. Food & Restaurants: • Main Buffet: It is a massive "no-go." People say "there is always something to eat," and of course there is—if you want to eat chips every day. When you are paying thousands of pounds for a holiday, you expect proper quality. The food is incredibly repetitive; by Tuesday, we already knew exactly what would be served for the rest of the week. • A La Carte: It is practically impossible to get a reservation at any of the restaurants. • Snack Bar: Only open from 12:00 to 4:00, and the food was always cold. We never once had a hot meal there. • Food Poisoning: To finish off the holiday, my wife got severe food poisoning. We had to spend £40 on medication just to stop her from being in agony. Room & Facilities: • No Water: We had no hot water for 3 days, and then we had no running water at all for an entire day. Management was completely useless. When I complained and asked to move rooms, they kept insisting the water was working—even right after I explained that my wife had just finished her shower, I got in, and the water completely cut out. • Construction Noise: There was heavy work being done right outside our room starting at 7:00 AM. It was so loud that many guests were moving rooms. After 5 days, I finally managed to flag down a manager walking around. He agreed to ask them to start at 9:00 AM instead, which they did, but the disruption had already ruined a massive chunk of our stay. The Positives: The only saving grace was the staff. The bar staff, the taxi drivers, and the entertainment team were all absolutely lovely. Verdict: I am not someone who complains, and I am definitely no "Karen," but this is a completely honest review. This hotel is a 3-star at best. If you are bringing your family here, prepare to be disappointed. It is definitely not worth the money, and we will not be returning."

"This is our third time in Longbeach Hotel, 1st hotel we origionally stayed in was a themed hotel, really bad experience, never again!!! We didnt think we would ever return to Hurghada but then we heard about long beach and decided to give it a try, thank god we did, amazing experience from start to finish, the first person we met on arrival was Milad, so professional and welcoming, discussed all the features and benifits of the hotel, welcomed us daily, on the second day we upgraded to a jacuzzi suite, unbelievable. From that first initial experience we go now yearly and always upgrade to the suite. After our 3rd visit this year in October 2026 i have to say the experience just gets better and better, the main restaurants are always very varied with different food, there are theme nights also with different food cultures. the other restaurants are amazing, excellent service, excellent menus, nothing is ever to much trouble, you always feel very special and contiounesly looked after. All the staff through out the hotel are very professional and happy to look after you. This is our favourite happy place, I also have to give a big shout out to Hamdy, he looked after us so well with room service daily, very professional, prompt and generally a lovely guy. We also had Khaled with daily house keeping the week we were there. I wish I could remember all the staff names individually, they were also amazing. We have already booked to come back in May 2027, cant wait, Well done all you guys!!!!! This was such an amazing holiday as always."
