Golf holidays in Spain are perhaps the most obvious choice. Think golden beaches, luxury golf resorts, and top-class courses all topped off with days and days of glorious sunshine. Costa del Sol – AKA the Costa del Golf – is known as Europe’s premier golfing destination, with 70 world-class courses in high-profile resorts such as Marbella and Estepona.
Costa Blanca has an alluring blend of world-class golf courses, too, such as those at Melia Villaitana, and the aptly named Golf du Sur – a specialist resort with its own academy, driving range, and championship golf course.
Long considered a rising star in the golfing world, Turkey’s recently been getting its dues thanks to a stunning landscape and abundance of world-class courses.
