Tips for booking cheap flights
While we always have some of the most affordable flights on the market, there are certain steps you can take to find the best cheap flights possible.
- Be flexible with your travel plans: If you can, try to keep an open mind when searching for flights. By booking to fly Friday morning instead of Friday night, or by returning earlier on Sunday than you’d initially planned, you can often snag a much better flight deal.
- Consider booking outside of peak periods: Many of our destinations have “peak” seasons, when tourist traffic (and flight prices) are highest . If you’re initially looking at visiting somewhere in the peak summer months of June or July, maybe have a look at visiting in May or September. The weather will likely still be glorious, and you’ll often be able to find more affordable flights and accommodation. When looking for cheap city breaks, consider the cheaper months of January and February- you’ll get to explore with fewer crowds, and there are a lot of activities to enjoy in any weather.
