"The trip didn’t start very good at all. Arrived at the hotel which is beautiful, checked in with my partner around 11.55pm, was told to get some food and drink while they sorted it out. Got to our room about 12.30, again room was great. 1.30am was rung by reception as there was a problem, we went to reception and was greeted with we don’t have your husbands name on the booking (the holiday was for my son and ex girlfriend but they split up so I changed the name, I was always the lead passenger as at the time of the booking they were 17, so I paid for the name change in August, all my paperwork said my husbands name) I showed them all my paperwork with my husbands name on but because their paperwork didn’t they wouldn’t let him in the room regardless that I had paid for two adults and all my paperwork from on the beach had my husbands name on it. To me that was the hotel and on the beach issue but we was refused so had to sleep in the reception or pay for the whole week for my partner (they said they would refund) but we didn’t have that money spare to pay for it. And we was punished. The next morning the manager came over at 10am and said it had been resolved. I work in hospitality and I would never let my guests sleep in the reception because of something minor as that. I paid for two adults there was two adults so for healthy and safety and fire risk it was ok. The week was ok, no compensation from the hotel for a crap first night. The hotel and other staff are great. We did come home with upset tummy’s and have been off work since we got back, not sure if it’s the food or cleanliness."

"Decided to write a detailed review to help those who are just planning to go to Hurghada! The hotel grounds are huge, well-kept, and green. There are many pools for every taste, with both quiet areas and places with active entertainment. We were assigned a clean and spacious room. Everything necessary inside: air conditioner, safe, tea set (tea and coffee were regularly replenished), TV, and hairdryer. Cleaning was done daily, they twisted nice shapes out of towels, which always lifted the spirits. The beach is very wide and long. The entrance from the shore is gradual, shallow water, so for full swimming, it is better for adults to walk along the long pier. From the pier, you immediately go to a depth where there is a beautiful living reef with colorful fish, be sure to bring snorkeling masks! The food in Egypt is quite decent. In the main restaurants, there was always a choice of meat, chicken, fish, side dishes, and fresh vegetables. Among the nice bonuses are delicious pastries and sweets. The staff is polite and responsive, and they responded quickly to any request at the reception. Excursions and leisure. We immediately decided not to overpay for separate guides whose prices are greatly inflated. Following the advice of acquaintances, they contacted a local guide named Mahmoud Hurghada, whom they found on the VKontakte social network. His prices were several times lower, and the service and organization were top-notch! We took three programs from him, and each one delighted us completely: Excursion to Luxor in a small group: We went with a small group of only up to 8 people accompanied by a private guide. This is just an incredible plus: no one stretches, no need to wait for a whole big bus, the guide tells everything in detail and enthusiastically, answered any questions. Diving into the history of Ancient Egypt was maximally comfortable! Sea trip to Dolphin Bay: The yacht was brand new, clean, and had comfortable areas for relaxation. The guides speak Russian excellently, they are very attentive and cheerful. We were lucky to see dolphins in the open sea and swim in the clear water! Sightseeing tour of Hurghada. A great option to see the city, take beautiful shots, and stop by the state pharmacy. In it, we bought quality Egyptian medicines and vitamins at fixed state prices without crazy markups. Result. Jasmine Palace Resort & Spa 5* is perfect for a peaceful and pleasant vacation. And if you supplement the stay with well-organized excursions, the vacation will be truly unforgettable!"
