Keep our holidays special
By maximising the benefits and minimising the negative impacts of travel and tourism.
And that means encouraging all of our hotel partners to achieve certification by a GSTC accredited certification body or certification to a GSTC recognised standard and supporting locally owned businesses and activities.

Transform travel for everyone
By embedding sustainability into everything we do   and pioneering meaningful change in our industry.
This also means building sustainability into the very fabric of our business culture and all our decisions. Because if we can get that right then we can really influence our industry to move forward.

Our Partnerships and Certifications

The Travel Foundation brings together different players in the travel industry to develop the practical solutions needed to maximise the benefits and minimise the negative impacts of tourism in everyone’s holiday destinations. Which is why we’re partnering with the Travel Foundation to shape our approach from the ground up.
ABTA offers advice and guidance to the travel industry on high service standards, health and safety, and promoting responsible tourism – making them the perfect partner to help us on our journey towards a Travelife for Tour Operators certification – an internationally recognised sustainability initiative.
The GSTC is a global membership organisation, formed to manage global standards for sustainable travel and tourism, the GSTC Criteria, and to foster increased knowledge and understanding of sustainable tourism practices through the adoption of universal sustainable tourism principles. So we’re proud to be a GSTC member and to work together to help enable our hotel partners to achieve GSTC-recognised certification.
The University of Oxford is world-famous for excellence and home to some of the most talented people from across the globe. Their work helps the lives of millions, solving real-world problems through a huge network of partnerships and collaborations. That's why we've partnered with the University of Oxford to establish the Oxford SDG (sustainable development goals) Impact Lab. We'll work together to identify challenges and opportunities for sustainable tourism linked to the UN's SDG's. This will help easyJet holidays pursue its aim to be an industry leader in sustainable tourism that has a positive impact on the environment and local communities.
The green leaf motif shows hotels which are eco-certified and have a Global Sustainable Tourism Council certification or have achieved GSTC recognised standards for hotels. This means the accommodation complies with the highest social and environmental standards on the market, through the highest assurance level that exists. We are encouraging our hotels to be certified by the end of 2025 and working with them to understand the benefits of becoming certified. Read more about GSTC criteria.
