"Arrived 27th Oct 10:30pm, check out 3rd Nov. 2 adults and 1 child travelling. Upon first arrival the hotel is run down. In SERIOUS need of refurbishment. Booked a double room, and what was given to us was a shabby box room barely fitting 3 people. This was actually described to us as “one of the best rooms”- I must have a different understanding of what the best room is. After requesting a new room we were upgraded to a family room- much bigger and spacious but still needs serious improvements. Very basic and dated. When arriving you will need to pay €100 deposit. This won’t get explained to you but apparently you will have to wait 2-3 weeks for this to be refunded. This was not told to us when we checked in. As we had booked an ALL INCLUSIVE holiday it came as a shock when we were told and found out that only certain bars in the hotel was actually able to serve alcoholic drinks (not that we’re even big drinkers this was still disappointing) and IF they did you were only able to get a beer, soft drinks, tea/coffee and the daily cocktail of choice (this is always repeated so let’s hope you like the same thing). EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING ELSE YOU NEED TO PAY EXTRA FOR. How is that an all inclusive??? So if you do like a drink drink be prepared to bring extra cash. No where on any booking site does the hotel state this. After certain hours bars do not serve alcohol as you have to pay for it after 11pm, again how is this an all inclusive? Basically you are paying for beer and soft drinks. Certain bars only open at a certain time aswell, good luck just getting a Pepsi before 12pm. As much as the WHOLE hotel needs refurbishing the one positive is the beautiful views looking over the sea and the gardens/greenary. If you have children in pushchairs or disability/mobility issues, do not bother booking here. Unless you enjoy hiking up lots of stairs and steep hills. The indoor pool came in handy when the weather wasn’t the best. Despite this looking like a deserted greenhouse it’s basically a death trap waiting to happen. As the roof leaks in everywhere it is a constant slip hazard, with no warning signs around- this also applies to the outdoor areas, as we had rain a few days this made the outside like an ice rink, again no slip warning signs, this is simply a health and safety risk. The food is constantly cold, unless you’re lucky enough to be the first person there. Very repetitive and very basic and bland. Photos of this hotel are very deceiving and misleading, don’t expect it to look how it looks online. Try not to leave anything in the wardrobe as this will likely get stolen from housekeeping as things aren’t handed in. This hotel is rated a 3 star and quite frankly I think that’s too generous. For the money this hotel is NOT WORTH IT."

"Just returned from a week during half term and cannot put into words what a fantastic holiday we had. Our party was two adults and a two year old toddler. The facilities are wonderful, food is plentiful with a great selection every day. Snacks are great and amply available. It is located a little out the way and the walk is rather hilly but the hotel provides a great coach to take you back and forth to the old town which is certainly my worth a visit. The rooms are small and outdated but have breathtaking views of the ocean. The staff are worth their weight in gold and help you upon arrival with luggage. The entertainment and team members are amazing and make this holiday very memorable and all go above and beyond to help the little ones have a great time and get all involved. The bar staff were not the happiest but they are very busy but a smile would go a long way. I cannot explain what a great place this is and would definitely recommend it and we enjoyed it so much we only got home last night and have already booked to go back for New Year’s Eve and we cannot wait. When I told my little boy we were going back he was jumping for joy shouting yaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyy and that’s coming from a two year old so says it all. Can’t wait to be back and see you all soon. "Outdated rooms with old disgusting smel. Everything in the room is old and inconvenient. Staff didn't solve the smelling issue in the room. We left earlier than booked. Not the place to enjoy a comfortable vacation."
