Luna Clube Oceano

"The apartment was spacious and having a separate living area and kitchen was useful, but unfortunately the overall condition of the accommodation was disappointing. The rooms and furnishings are very dated and in need of refurbishment. The bathroom was particularly poor, with dirty/discoloured grout and sealant around the bath and shower area. There was also an open hole behind the wall-mounted hairdryer with wiring visible, which was concerning. The kitchen appliances and fittings were also old and worn, and generally the apartment felt tired and poorly maintained. While the amount of space was a positive, based on the condition of our accommodation I don’t feel this hotel currently meets the standard of even a hostel ! We had 3 rooms. All with varying issues"

"Rosemary and myself have just returned from Albufeira in The Algarve. We had a lovely seven night stay at the Luna Clube Oceano appartments situated between the old town and the livelier Strip. The staff at these appartments are friendly, helpful and very efficient. Antonio on the front desk always greeted us with a smile and also asked if everything was to our satisfaction. The appartments are big and airy and well equiped. We had everyting we needed for a self catering holiday and when Rosemary asked for an iron and ironing board they were brought to our room in a matter of minutes. The aircon in our room was a godsend as the tempreture outside was extremely high, and the aircon units never faltered once. We had a one bedroom appartment and there was aircon units in the bedroom as well as the living room. The beach was a few minues walk away and you could take a leisurely stroll along it to the old town. There is a nice seafood restaurant beside the Luna Clube Oceano and the food there is execllent. Also there is a couple of mini markets nearby too. I would definitely recommend these appartments."

"Ignore the bad reviews we had a brillaint week at this hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Pool area was perfect always cleaned as I watched the cleaner every morning clean it hotel was clean rooms abit out dated but still very nice definitely reccomend for a self catering holiday . Only thing the rooms need cups pots pans etc"
