Areias Village

"Having just returned from a fantastic stay, I felt compelled to write this review giving a true honest reflection to help others. From the moment we arrived, it just got better and better. From the warm welcome we received from the super receptionist, to then making our way to the pool bar and being greeted by a lovely lady behind the bar, our first impressions were the hotel looks much better than in the photos. The staff customer service throughout our stay was 10 out 10. The breakfast was plentiful and lots of choice to suit your preference. The rooms were super spacious and very clean as was the hotel. We travel abroad at least three times a year to Europe or Turkey and this was a true four star stay with no complaints from us at all. It was a super chilled vibe which was perfect for an October stay. No disco noise whilst we were there, probably because the disco was closed. If you are a family or couple looking for a perfect spot, this is ideal. A lovely sandy beach is an 8 minute walk away as you you turn right out the gate and follow the road to the end going past a english sports pub called Frankie's. We had our last meal in there and the food, prices and service was excellent. Was also had the best curry ever at Urban Indian, which was a 15 minute walk through the main strip. It was so good my son wanted to return. We got a taxi to the Marina that cost €10 = 8.34 to go on a Dolphin sightseeing excursion. We also got a taxi in the old town, which was about €7. The old town is very lively with lots of bars, as is the new town which is just around the corner from the hotel. If you want a chilled location, with great service in a central location as a great base this is the hotel for you. We look forward to returning as just a couple next time around."

"We stayed here for 3 nights can't fault the hotel its lovely, so clean the safe is free and theres a laundry room so no paying out for irons wifi is brilliant on 3rd floor its around the corner from the new town and old town is ten minutes in a taxi which was 7 euros. The lady on the desk was so helpful and lovely hopefully will be returning next year they cant do enough for you 😊"

"Great hotel, visited before and still as good. Room huge and had everything you needed. The added addition of bottle of wine on arrival was a great touch. Room cleaned daily with fresh towels. Front desk on arrival very polite and welcoming, you can't get into your room until 3pm but wasn't a problem as places available to leave your bag and get changed if required. Hotel close to new town and other amenities café shop etc. UBERS very cheap to old town and Marina less than £4. Night club over the road but never heard it during stay, hotel next noisy during the day but not a problem, people just enjoying holiday. Only negative, pool bar shut early and opened late, would be nice to sit in sun with coffee or juice first thing but no staff available"
