Nearby Ephesus dates back to 3000BC. Among the ruins at this UNESCO-protected site there’s a grand Roman amphitheatre and the awe-inspiring Temple of Artemis.
Kusadasi boasts no fewer than eight gorgeous beaches with their own look and feel. Among the best are Ladies Beach, Long Beach and National Park Beach.
The summer months are when you’re likely to see the warmest temperatures in Kusadasi. So, between June and September is perfect for sun-lovers looking to spend time relaxing on the beaches. However, you can enjoy long days and warm weather from May to October. So, spring and autumn are also good times to go. And, if you fancy beating the crowds, then October to April would be an excellent period to book. You may save a little money too.
With a great choice of sandy beaches, local restaurants and vibrant markets to discover, Kusadasi is an excellent holiday destination. There’s the castle on Pigeon Island, where you can take in the sea views. And there are plenty of family activities nearby. While older family members will enjoy taking in the local landmarks or relaxing on the sands. There’s also a good selection of family-friendly hotels to choose from. So, you’ll find plenty of facilities and entertainment. And there’s no shortage of places to eat out, with food to please all tastes.
This part of Turkey is famous for its historical and cultural landmarks. And Kusadasi is the perfect base for taking day trips to many fascinating locations. Hiring a car is a good way to do this. However, you can also reach many places by dolmus, the public bus service. And there are often organised trips available. Of course, you may prefer to keep it simple and just relax in Kusadasi itself. With beaches, restaurants and activities close by, you won’t need to travel far at all.
