Holidays in

A bubbly Turkish resort

Kusadasi is located on Turkey’s sunny west coast, so beautiful views of the sparkling Aegean Sea are never far away. It’s a modern and bustling beach resort with lively nightlife – but you can also enjoy its traditional Turkish roots. Not only is one of the area’s most famous sights, the ancient city of Ephesus, nearby, but Kusadasi has a charming old town. Cobbled streets wind their way past colourful bazaars and authentic Turkish restaurants. Don’t miss the chance to get your haggle on at the Grand Bazaar – a shopper’s paradise selling everything from local crafts to clothes and jewellery. With a choice of golden sandy beaches, holidays to Kusadasi guarantee fun in the sun. From their banana boats to their waterfront cafes, Kusadasi’s beaches are both vibrant and well-equipped. You’ll find plenty of family-friendly activities like horse riding, too. And when the sun goes down, there’s everything from traditional tavernas to late-night clubs to keep you entertained.

Nearby Ephesus dates back to 3000BC. Among the ruins at this UNESCO-protected site there’s a grand Roman amphitheatre and the awe-inspiring Temple of Artemis.

Kusadasi boasts no fewer than eight gorgeous beaches with their own look and feel. Among the best are Ladies Beach, Long Beach and National Park Beach.

You’ll find every cuisine going, from Italian to Japanese. Be sure to try local Turkish dishes, too, which span barbecued meats, sticky baklava and, of course, Turkish delight.

Visit Izmir

Turkey’s third largest city is within easy reach. Famous for its stunning waterfront promenade, Izmir has ancient roots and lots going on.

See Pigeon Island

Sail to this little isle to visit the mighty Byzantine Pirate Castle and enjoy spectacular ocean views from the dizzy heights of the fortress walls.

Hit the waterpark

Kusadasi has three waterparks to choose from. Adaland is the biggest and best, and ticks off white-knuckle slides and flumes and a lovely family pool.
