Psalidi sits on the coast right next to Kos Town – heaven for shoppers. Head to Eleftherias Square’s indoor market and buy olive oil, traditional drinks and spices.

Gourmet lovers will enjoy strong Greek coffee, tasty traditional stews, rainbow-bright fresh salads and just-caught fish at Psalidi’s many colourful tavernas, restaurants and low-key cafés.
Hire a bike
It’s an easy ride alongside the water to Kos Town, where you can see ancient ruins and a medieval castle, or cycle to the island’s natural thermal pools.

Given Psalidi is close to Kos’s capital, it’s a lively spot all year round. For warm sunshine and sea, come during the summer, between July and September.
