Kipriotis Village Resort

"Abysmal. I have never in my life experienced a holiday like this. Where on earth to start! The fact that everything is dated and not one picture on the website gives a true vision of the room we got is nothing. We walked in the room to remnants of someone's hair removal cream and hair wiped down the side of the shower curtain, dirt rings round the bath and sink, black mould in the air conditioning unit and dust everywhere. Our room was not cleaned once. We had to ask for the bins to be emptied which only happened on days 4 and 6 (bear in mind you can't flush toilet paper here, and there were 4 in our room!). Tea/coffee making facilities never topped up and beds never made. Around the site, toilets were not cleaned, they stank of urine all week. Rubbish was left lying in the grounds and by the pool was a pile of dirty plates that sat there all week! Moving to the restaurant, food was cool, bland, very little choice and one day I had the delight of being served raw chicken. Another highlight was grey leftover peas and carrots with potato wedges served at breakfast. Drinks machines often broken, serving wrong drinks and later we discovered mould and grime in the drip trays. No hot drinks after breakfast, no breakfast teabags. Tables were never cleaned, left grimy and sticky, dirty plates and cutlery and all glass - doors, banisters, handles - had grimy handprints on all week. Never cleaned. The pools closed early, slides were often closed, no sports facilities in a state to be used and no afternoon snacks. Staff were rude, they seem to have given up. The only credit I can give is to the very hard working and enthusiastic entertainment team who really tried to cheer people up. To top it off, on our final day we had a late checkout. A man let himself into our room whilst our son was watching TV , unplugged it and took it away! We were left with absolutely nothing to do for the rest of the day as the pools had been closed off and entertainment crew had finished two days earlier. By far, the worst hotel I have ever had the misfortune to stay in. Such a shame, as Kos itself was beautiful."

"We went end of September for a week, the holiday was amazing. We arrived just after midnight, the gentleman at the desk was really friendly and offered us snacks and drinks before going to our rooms. Once we went downstairs we was greeted by a driver who helped us with our luggage and took us to our room. We had a 2 bedroom room, the rooms were big and it was clean. Food was ok could be better, pools were good water was freezing but once in it was ok. We had our wedding on the beach which was amazing. Christina was our wedding coordinator she did an amazing job, couldn't ask for anything more, I would definitely highly recommend her. She did everything we asked for plus more. We only went to the kids evening mini disco and that was brilliant, our kids loved it, so much energy from the entertainers. Rooms were cleaned everyday, towels were changed everyday. All staff was friendly and really did look after us. Location was good only a bus ride to Kos town, beach was just minute walk away from our room. This was an amazing holiday, would definitely love to come back again."

"I am not usually someone that reviews holidays and takes reviews with a pinch of salt but it is absolutely necessary with this hotel! Rooms looked like basic student accommodation, not at all like advertised, in fact none of the pictures on their site are in anyway a reflection of this hotel! We had yellow water running from our shower regularly. We had a bad ant infestation which was reported twice and never dealt with. Curtains were mouldy. Rooms never cleaned unless you count emptying the bins, beds never made. Pools- clean however not once were the walkways sprayed. Dirty stagnant water that stunk collected around them all week. Snack bars- all closed, no prior notification of this. The noodles bar was one of the reasons we booked because our kids love noodles. Restaurant- the most disappointing part. No variety, only one bay of hot food available, the same everyday, one day there was no protein what so ever! Should be 3 restaurants and only one was open which then got closed and was moved to a smaller one with even less choice. Didn’t even have coffee! We had to eat out. Pool bar- regularly ran out of beer 🤷‍♀️ limited to 2 drinks per person, as a family of 4 with 2 children who couldn’t get their own, this was just obscene. Entertainment- music from 8:30-10:30… that’s it. One night all the staff had an end of season party in an adjacency room whilst new guests were still arriving. Kids club- rarely open. Sports facilities- A&E trip waiting to happen, all torn and very unsafe. We paid a lot of money for this holiday and to say we are disappointed is a massive understatement. If it wasn’t for the people we met on this holiday living the same hell, I don’t know how we would have made it through."
