"By far, the worst experience I have had in Greece. The hotel is clean and the staff are really lovely. However, our hotel room has a TV that looks more like a computer monitor that does not work. The screen on the balcony door is ripped. The room smells like mildew and mould and we are not even in a pool room. The hotel has an obsession with blasting bad pop music covers in the restaurant at all hours. It's okay to be able to eat my bland meal in peace. Silence is actually okay! Might even give people a chance to have a conversation without bad covers of even worse pop songs blast through. The food is a real disappointment. One of the best parts about Greece is their food. Their focus on fresh quality seasonal ingredients. First time I've ever had bad yogurt in Greece. It was like eating paste. For breakfast, there's bowls of canned fruits in sugar syrup but not fresh in season fruits. There's only instant coffee that tastes like pencil shavings with not even freddo as an option. Mind you, Greece has an amazing coffee culture. There's also a bunch of processed greasy sugary options for breakfast and they've clearly gone for the cheapest frozen and canned products they could find from the cold war era. Lunch is the same. It's just the same recycled soggy bland stuff every day. They also have an obsession with dry crusty lasagne like dishes they put out at all hours of the day. For cocktails, again no real fresh ingredients just weird neon coloured sugar syrups. No option of bottled water and can't fill up our own bottles because they want you to buy from their little market. If you want to contract heart disease from eating gross food, definitely choose this resort! There's nothing 4 star about this place."

"Great hotel for a peaceful break. Food excellent, drinks OK, staff are superb and work very hard. No shortage of sunbeds and all facilities are kept spotless . Kos town is a 10 minute bus ride away and is more lively. The rooms are lovely and the entertainment is reasonable. The exception being the rock duo who play on a Monday night who where fantastic."

"My mother and I spent our two-week vacation this year on Kos, at the Blue Lagoon Ocean. It was our first trip to this island and we are thrilled. The facility was top-maintained and clean. The cleaning staff felt like they reacted within 5 seconds if anything was up. We have NEVER had anything like that before. The food was very varied and we thought the option to book an à la carte restaurant once a week for free (excluding drinks) was great. The rooms are very spacious and nicely furnished. The pools are both very large and you have the option to lie on the hotel's own beach section, with a beach bar. The staff was very, very friendly and accommodating. No matter who. We liked it very much and would love to come back. 😊 We also thought the old town of Kos by the harbor was super beautiful!"
