Village Hotel Glasgow

"Rooms are lovely and comfortable , mattress toppers are great , all facilities that you need . easy accessible parking . bar and restaurant facilities are very good clean and good quality food although quite expensive but most places are nowadays . liesure facilities are very good and a great addition to a business stay but must say that this is the worse case of mobile phone usage in any gym that I have ever visited, users sat on benches , equipment constantly on their phones , preventing other users from completing their work out , one male was on a leg press for 40 mins during which he completed no more than 5 sets ! this needs addressing , theres a nice lounge downstairs if you want to sit on your phone ."

"Always welcoming, good parking, good gym, pool, sauna, steam, and jacuzzi. Good food - both dinner and breakfast. good deals/offers. good location for ovo hydro and science centre…nice walk into Glasgow. rooms and the bathrooms are modern. love staying here."

"We pre booked parking at the hotel to make it as minimal fuss as possible on arrival as it was a special day for us. We were met with around half the car park closed people double parked and areas where you couldn’t turn around in. The car park and surrounding carparks were jam packed with football traffic. If this was made aware we would’ve changed travel arrangements to suit. When approached about parking we were told we would need to find alternative parking and move the car later that day if we wanted it located at the hotel, not exactly ideal when you have arrangements in place and having alcohol drinks. We did eventually get a parking space a good half mile walk back to the hotel."
