"Absolutely a pleasure to stay here a warm and friendly atmosphere staff very attentive and polite. The food was perfect the rooms were modern and clean.I would recommend it to anyone and it cannot be faulted 5⭐️"

"Positives:
Often good value for money - the standard HI Express offering, often for a more reasonable price than elsewhere in Croydon (and certainly central London) Rooms are modern and clean with stylish en-suites, although looking tired in places. The included breakfast is done well. Negatives:
Location is further from East Croydon station than other local hotels - over a 10min walk - and not in the nicest local area. It’s not ideal if you’re a tourist in London, but acceptable if you’re on a budget.
The male reception staff are unwelcoming and need re-trained. By comparison, the female reception staff are all lovely. The breakfast crew are excellent. Some house-keeping staff play music and talk loudly (in Spanish); hotel Management must address this. Annoyingly, shower water pressure is weak, but usable."
