Ibis Budapest Centrum

"Wonderful hotel. Clean modern in a quiet area very close to the metro. I recommend it without reservation for a stay. The service of the staff and their politeness really left me with the best impression. I will prefer it again on my next trip."

"Unfortunately, we did not feel welcomed by the customer service during our stay. We were traveling as three people, yet we were given a room with only two twin beds. When we asked if we could have a larger room because it was simply not practical for three people to sleep comfortably in two twin beds, the main response seemed to be that we would need to pay extra for an upgrade. What was disappointing was that there seemed to be very little consideration for the fact that three people simply cannot comfortably fit into two twin beds. We were not asking for anything unreasonable — just a room arrangement that would actually be suitable for three guests. The room itself was also extremely tiny, with barely enough space to walk around. There was very little room for luggage or even to move comfortably around the beds, which made the stay feel quite cramped. Overall, the lack of welcoming customer service and the unwillingness to find a reasonable solution left us very disappointed."

"We booked two spacious family rooms for 2 nights under the Accor Family Offer at a very good price. Check-in was smooth, and we were given quiet rooms on the highest, 9th floor, overlooking the back of the hotel, as requested. The hotel is modern, well maintained, and very easy to reach from the airport by public bus. Public transportation—including the metro, buses, and trams—is also easily accessible, making it convenient to reach the main sights of the Old city, such as Parliament, St. Stephen’s Basilica, Buda Castle, and Fisherman’s Bastion. The Danube is just a short walk away, and you can also take a ferry to Parliament from there. There are several good restaurants close to the hotel. There is also a currency exchange office directly opposite the hotel if you need Hungarian forints (HUF), although we paid for our stay in euros, as specified in our booking. Breakfast was also very good, with a rich variety of food and juices. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its excellent location, good quality, and great value for money."
