"Although the room did have a bath as requested and was quiet, it was quite a schlepp from the weekend event I was in Prague to attend, and was also only accessible via a long shopping corridor – quite challenging for someone with feet problems. Considering I had booked this hotel as part of an EasyJet 'Holiday’ , the customer service via EasyJet was effectively non-existent, therefore I had taken the initiative to contact the hotel myself to enquire whether they could provide any gluten- and dairy-free options at breakfast – they did, however each morning, I had to attempt to ask the mostly grumpy and non-English-speaking staff for these, and it was sometimes a challenge to get more than a small pot of soy milk or package with two bits of GF white bread from them – I had brought my own GF cereal so had to keep asking for more soya milk to use with the cereal along with my coffee. It was really only after I had complained to the hotel desk clerk that the GF stuff was not simply put out for me each morning that one of the staff decided to add a GF chocolate pastry – it was apparently too much effort for the other staff. When it came to asking for help from the desk staff for where to find things like local pharmacies and landmarks, etc, they either gave poor instructions or seemed too busy to help – I found the desk clerk at the nearby Ramada infinitely more helpful. I also found the room temperature quite chilly at night, which has contributed to my feeling unwell on my return – however given that the staff were either mostly unfriendly, unhelpful or did not speak English, I did not really have the opportunity to request help with locating the thermometer in my room to make it warmer at night. The breakfast no doubt would have been fine for someone without dietary issues or used to Czech foods, but it was very boring and not all that for those who would have appreciated at least one other version of eggs and/or meats, eg bacon. – instead, it was just the same undercooked scrambled eggs and Czech sausages every day, occasionally with some potatoes or pate."
