Hotel Montenegro Beach Resort

"A wonderful hotel and wonderful service. It is unclear why some guests express some dissatisfaction, everything is fine. 4-star hotel, fully meets its status. Since there is a 5-star hotel near this one in the network, many service standards are similar, which is not a disappointment. I bought a room with breakfast, and it was important for me to have free time and visit restaurants for lunch and dinner whenever and wherever I wanted, so the room with only breakfast absolutely suited me. The area is very clean, both at the hotel and around it, including the beach area. In the room, everything is perfect: a large double bed, a large armchair, a vanity table with a mirror, 2 chairs, a table, a television, a wardrobe, in the bathroom, a shower cabin, a hairdryer. Very friendly staff at the reception, in the beach area, and in the restaurant - friendly, young, and beautiful employees. Excellent breakfasts, everything is always fresh: a huge assortment of fruits, cottage cheese, cereals, egg dishes, ham, grilled vegetables, sausages, hot dogs, bacon, cheeses of all kinds, dairy products, vegetable salads, pâtés, sardines, tuna, various croissants, juices, coffee, tea, and much more. The tables are set with cutlery, white tablecloths on the tables, a very spacious restaurant area, there are always free seats. One day I decided to have dinner at a restaurant - everything was great too. Yes, drinks are not included in the dinner when you buy breakfast or breakfast-dinner separately, but at the reception, they will always offer you several options, including drinks - it's up to you to choose what suits you, if anything is missing. The hotel grounds have a large spa area which includes 3 saunas: hamam, sauna, and Finnish sauna, a swimming pool, sun loungers, meditative music playing, excellent relaxation. The hotel grounds also have an outdoor pool and a lawn where you can sunbathe and relax. And what exclusive tree on the territory!! It's just a fairy tale - there is always a shadow under it - a beautiful area for relaxation. There is also a Latin bar on the hotel grounds - you will never be bored: beautiful guys and girls dance, entertain, and teach dancing, and they also make magnificent cocktails and pizza. There is a restaurant on the territory with a huge area, musicians play in the evenings, including a saxophonist. Latino bar and restaurant - paid, but there are always people there. For those who have all-inclusive from morning till night, the bar is open - all drinks are available - wine, beer, cocktails, snacks, and more. The hotel is in the most ideal location in the Beachy area - a large beach area, 1st line - you walk from the hotel through the area and you are already on the beach. Beach towels are issued upon registration from 8 am - near the exit to the beach. There are very comfortable sunbeds with umbrellas on the beach, a beautiful entry into the sea, a gorgeous, crystal-clear Adriatic Sea, you can enter calmly - the pebbles are beautiful and colorful and all round - there is no discomfort when entering the sea. There is sand on the beach itself. There is a chain store 5 minutes walk from the hotel where you can always buy whatever you want - don't forget to buy Vranec wine there. Very tasty and it is in the assortment. In Due Ty Free, by the way, they sell it for a higher price. We had a wonderful guide Vitaly - very competent and professional - I think he is the best there can be! Thanks to him, the necessary excursions to Montenegro were chosen and organized, and with him, it was possible to purchase gorgeous individual tours to gorgeous places in Montenegro, including Porto Montenegro. In general, I wrote down all the main points. I am delighted with my stay at this hotel! I consider it one of the best for 4 stars. According to some recommendations for particularly fussy guests, I will write separately so that they take it into account. Overall, everything is great! I wish the hotel prosperity and more grateful guests!!!"

"Had a very chilled out stay. The quality of rooms and food very good although the brown furniture in dining room could do with upgrading. Pool area good with plenty of sun loungers there and at private beach. Only gripes were all inclusive drinks was not available at pool or outside dining room which was disappointing. Also evening entertainment poor except for the night 3 tenors on"

"Would have liked to given 5 stars, but we faced a few disappointing factors flew out with Jet2, who were noticeable by their absence (different review for them), being dropped off at the hotel next door - Iberostar and being told just to walk down to the hotel as the coach could not get down the small road, no accompanying staff. We arrived around midday, to be told our rooms (booked two, one for us and one for our son and girlfriend Age 19) were not ready, but should be done in 1 hour and half , we went off to the bar, came back to be told it would be another 25 mins, then was told a further 20 mins, so we sat in the reception thinking that our rooms would be ready soon, this was not the case, it was 3pm (their official check in time) before the rooms were ready, only to find that our two rooms were on completely different floors. There were some welcoming staff and some very abrupt staff on reception, which did not help the situation, Note to remember if flying on the Jet2 flight from Stanstead you will arrive early, but doubt your rooms will be ready till 3pm, maybe take your swimwear in your cabin bag and just head to the pool - we wasted 3 hours The rooms themselves were spacious (Standard Plus room) and clean, good air con, Coffee is chargeable in the room along with mini bar, you can hire a kettle. point to note is the Juliet balcony is just open doors with about 15in of floor outside, you can not sit out on the balcony which is a shame and this does not really have sea or mountain views only a car park. you need to be in the new building where an extra charge is to have the balcony and mountain / sea views. The bed was comfortable and an option to leave a card on the bed if you do not wish for new clean sheets, if you wish for new towels leave them on the floor, but we found most of the time we hung our towels to keep them, only to find they have been changed (shame as effecting the environment) The hotel has a nice pool area, fairly small but never felt over crowded, with sunbeds all around which again didn't really have an issue securing a bed during the day. a short walk to the beach where you pick up your towels, great system you have a card which they exchange for a towel and then when you return this is given back, you can change throughout the day also. The Beach area is for the hotel guests only and free (other areas were charging around 15 to 25 euro for 2 x bed and umbrella and again didn't really have an issue finding sun beds, the beach is very small gravel with pebbles into the sea, the sea gets very deep very quickly but is roped off to protect from the boats and watersports, to the right there are the cliffs which was great to snorkel and see a few fish etc. We went Bed & Breakfast and could not fault the breakfast, lots of choice and good quality, glad we didn't go All inclusive as reading lots of reviews where most is not included, but B&B was really good. The Hotel has a few bars/ restaurants - the new Latin bar (great for happy hour cocktails) the El Gousto restaurant - unfortunately the food was a under par especially the squid which was in edible. there is the Mika cafe which is nice, and has a selection of indulgent cakes. and bars around the poolside (friendly staff here) The one thing you need to be aware of is all of the eateries and bars under the hotel automatically charge 10% surcharge, which is normally acceptable, until the staff tell you that is given to all staff, but waiting staff we found, still expected a further tip, which we could not justify and it was confusing when staff said there would be an extra charge to use card, cash is king out there, but when we used card there was no further charge? the 10% surcharge was even put on drinks when you went to the bar to order your own drinks, other local restaurants in the area did not have this and was a pleasure to personally tip the great service elsewhere. There is an indoor pool and sauna, but be aware the floor is extremely slippery, take care!"
