"Our family spent Saturday night at the Radisson Blu Hotel, London Bloomsbury, and it was one of our most enjoyable family hotel stays in central London. Located on Bloomsbury Street, just moments from the British Museum, the hotel is perfectly positioned for exploring the capital. Covent Garden, Oxford Street, Soho and Tottenham Court Road station are all within easy walking distance, making it an excellent base for sightseeing, shopping or a weekend break in London with children. However, what made our visit particularly memorable was the wonderful hospitality and an unexpected upgrade to a newly renovated Family Suite, which was simply WOW!
From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt genuinely welcomed. The hotel has a contemporary, elegant atmosphere without feeling overly formal, which is particularly important when travelling with children. The interiors are stylish, the surroundings feel comfortable, and the overall experience strikes a lovely balance between luxury and practicality. Despite being in such a busy part of London, our accommodation provided a relaxing retreat from the city outside.
The highlight was undoubtedly our Family Suite at Radisson Blu London Bloomsbury. The amount of space was incredible, especially by central London standards. The thoughtfully designed layout featured a separate bedroom, living room and dining area, giving everyone room to relax without feeling cramped. For a family of four, this arrangement was ideal and would suit longer stays just as well.
The contemporary furnishings and newly renovated interiors gave the suite a fresh, welcoming feel. One particularly impressive feature was the master bedroom bathtub, which the children absolutely loved! The separate rain shower was equally impressive, offering several different settings for a wonderfully relaxing shower.
The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and I was especially pleased with the pillows, which suited me perfectly and helped me sleep well. Practical touches included a Nespresso coffee machine, bathrobes, slippers and a handy garment steamer instead of a traditional iron. Everything felt carefully considered, making the suite both luxurious and genuinely functional.
The service deserves special recognition. Zubin Lobo was absolutely outstanding from the moment we arrived. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, taking a genuine interest in ensuring that our children were happy and that we had everything we needed. His warmth, attentiveness and professionalism made a real difference to our stay.
Breakfast the following morning was another enjoyable experience, with a good selection of options to suit different preferences. We were particularly pleased to find halal chicken sausages available, a thoughtful addition for families looking for a halal breakfast in central London. A big thank you also goes to Emese, who looked after us wonderfully during breakfast and made the morning feel relaxed and pleasant.
I would particularly recommend this hotel to families visiting London, couples looking for a comfortable city break, or anyone planning a longer stay who appreciates additional space and privacy. The Family Suite is especially practical when travelling with children, while the central location makes exploring London incredibly convenient. It is an excellent choice for both weekend stays and extended visits.
Overall, our Saturday night stay exceeded our expectations in every way. The spacious suite, comfortable beds, excellent facilities, convenient location and genuinely attentive service made this a memorable family experience.
