Indigo London Kensington Earls Court

"Perfect location - 3 minute walk from Earls Court tube station which is well connected. Warm welcome at the hotel. Smooth check in process. The room was spacious with a huge bathroom. Bed was comfy and temperature settings were perfect. Inspite of being at a busy location it was not noisy at night. Breakfast was À la carte plus buffet which included in the price I paid. Roger who manned the welcome desk was full of energy and enthusiasm, which was much needed early morning! Food was tasty! Highly recommend this place."

"Good location, friendly staff and a decent breakfast. Unfortunately, we weren't told about refurbishment work or that our room would be in the basement. The room was too small for a family of four, felt in need of some repair and had a noticeable damp smell. Overall, it didn't feel particularly clean, and while the location was a plus, I wouldn't rush back."

"I would not stay here again. I was planning a solo trip and had taken time off work for it. The room was not cheap, I know prices in South Kensington are higher because of the area, so I was ok with spending a bit more. I was placed in a room right next to a lot of loud construction noise, which I had no prior warning of or option of a part refund or change of room. It was horrendous and prevented me from getting any decent rest. I only stayed for one night, so the extent of the issue became apparent too late for me to ask for an alternative room myself in the absence of being offered. The breakfast was ok, but they got my order wrong and also overcooked my eggs. Genuinely not worth the extra money, you are much better off staying in the Premier Inn, where the whole experience is much more pleasant. On check out, I mentioned to the staff the issue with the noise, they said they would pass on to the manager but they didn’t know there were constructions happening. I don’t believe that they were unaware of the construction. I was not contacted by any management. So I went through two complaints processes, before writing this review. I like to give places a chance to correct their mistakes rather than just giving a bad review. I then had to chase a response from them, which basically just said ‘sorry’. Honestly have no understanding of what has happened to customer service these days."
