"So I don’t normally write reviews as everyone has there own opinion and personal experience but I thought why not… So we were are family of four 2 adults 2 children age 9&10. We booked a family suite and it was huge but perfect. Kids had their own beds and huge shared bedroom plenty of space for clothes . Main room and bed was also huge plenty of space for clothes. Huge balcony. The waterpark was absolutely spot on for the children they literally spent all day either in the pools or on the slides. Evening entertainment was pretty rubbish in our opinion and wasn’t great. We never struggled getting a sun bed was always lots of room, lifeguards were brilliant with the kids. Restaurant and outside bar seating isn’t really big enough for the size of the hotel and although the food wasn’t to our taste we did all find something to eat in the evening although it was mostly bread and soup. Burgers at lunch was lovely. The staff in the restaurant especially at breakfast were bloody brilliant absolute stars with the children laughing joking keeping them entertained massive shout out goes to Salah and Ehab. Both Amzing and couldn’t of done more thank you 👌🏼💪 Overall a great week"

"Overall a fantastic time but will give a detailed review. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids aged 3 and 5 for 10 nights. Firstly we arrived at the hotel and were greeted by the porters who took our bags and put them to the side. We were shown to reception to which we waited patiently to be seen. This was our first issue, we waited for w long time but this was due to other people pushing in front of us. These were not British people as they would have also queues, but other nationalities who do not have any etiquette. However the reception staff should have seen this and not allowed them to be seen and saw us as we were next. Once being seen the reception staff were really good and then shown back to the porters who loaded our bags onto a golf cart and were escorted to our room on the resort whilst being shown around on a little tour. We got into our room and at the same time, met our cleaner Mahmoud who introduced himself and told us he would be doing our rooms and to let him know if we needed anything. We booked a family suite which was great, the rooms were very big and bathroom a decent size, large balcony overlooking the pools too. If I would provide any tips for the rooms, it would be if you wanted to watch anything, take a samsung device and screen share as there is nothing to watch in English on the TV. Food- We can say nothing bad about the food. We thought the food was amazing, a great variety for all meals of the day and so much of it, the meat dishes were full of juicy meats and every dish was very tasty. Every day has a different theme too for the main dishes eg oriental, Seafood, International etc. Mahmoud was one of the waiter staff who we instantly had a good connection with. He treated us very well as well as every other member of staff in the restaurant, all very efficient and lovely. The hotel has 4 A la carte restaurants, Lebanese, Italian, Mexican and Indian. Our mistake was not booking these in time. We had 3 as part of our package but only managed the Lebonese and Indian as we left booking till the last few days of our holiday and everywhere was already fully booked. The Lebonese has a beautiful balcony and lovely food, the Indian has a lovely buffet selection. Pools and Slides- the kids absolutely loved these as did we, all great fun, no queues on any of them, all the Lifeguards were very friendly and wanted to make everyones experience great. Our kids got friendly with Abdullah who let them be lifeguards with him which they loved. The lifeguards are also in charge of cleaning the pools and areas which they do before everything opens, when it shuts and throughout the day. Very clean. Pool bars, great staff including Melad who looked after us very well. Little tip would be to visit both pool bars when it comes to the afternoon snacks as they both serve different things. If you ordered lots of drinks they would offer to bring it over for you on a tray. Kids entertainment- we took our kids into the kids club thinking we could then go and get a massage or treat ourselves to something however when we took the kids inside the kids club we didn't like it at all. No engagement, no atmosphere, was quiet and felt pretty boring, they just let the kids do what they wanted. We were very disappointed with this and took them away after 30 mins and did not go back. Entertainment- the team put on things like zumba , yoga, darts and volleyball each day, the same routine. We joined in with a few of these. Our kids loved the 20-30 minute mini disco every night. This starts at 830 every evening however one evening it starts at 930 which to us is very late, especially followed by a show after. The shows were 30 min shows, did not blow us away but were ok for a bit of something to watch. Music for the mini disco could be turned down slightly as we felt we needed earplugs. When it came to the all inclusive side of things we felt there is too much plastic wastage. Cups should be reusable and bigger. There are also a couple of photographers going around taking photos all the time, this was very awkward at first, however we then started to embrace it and at the end of the holiday saw they had taken some lovely photos of us all so we bought a selection of them digitally from them. Overall we have such a lovely time, everyone there was extremely nice, we all felt very safe, all over indulged on delicious food, had a great time on the slides and pools and were very sad to come home! We would definitely want to visit again. Big thank you to Mahmoud, Abdullah, Melad, all the lifeguards, all the restaurant staff, cleaners and all other staff at Charmillion for making our stay memorable.
