"The site is extensive spacious and beautiful. Lots of open space and plants and trees. The gardens well maintained.
There is a beach 6 minutes walk or you can take a train, to the crowded publc beach where there is an area that you can sit on a reserved sunbed , the same one for the duration of your stay in the first 3 rows if you have a superior room. However, we saw locals or those without wrist bnds using the beds after paying staff to sit there. They sat on our reserved bed and we were told it wasnt reserved, we had been on it 5 days in a row.
There are looky looky men bothing you all the time to buy cheap and inferior products.
The smaller beach nearby was batural and rocky, ldeal for snorkelling.
We stayed in room 303, superior room, all inclusive.
Clean room ground floor 2 rooms and a bathroom. Plenty of clothes storage.
The room had Coffee machine, fridge with drinks and beach towels changed daily. The room was clean, the bathroom had a leak, we think it was from the shower under the tiled floor and presented as large pools in the corners of tge room and under the sink, the cleaning staff seemed aware and " padded the room " with towels. We reported it, but nothing changed. The cleaning saff were always friendly and helpful and did a great job.
Confused about the drinks in the fridge, did we pay or are they free? Never found out and didnt drink them.
When we arrived were advised to download the app for the site and hotel, useless , cant view the map as too small and coulnt book pizza restuarant on it. No map or information about the site, ( is it because we are English?)
Staff in reception generally helpful and friendly, staff in large restaurant stressed and chaotic. Smaller restuarant was better, we could go there as we had the superior room , saw others rudely turned away. The staff here were also grumoy and sressed, but less busy. Victoria and Georgia were both lovely, helpful and friendly. The manager was solomn as were others. Both restuarants often an out of food and cutlery
The food was of good qualiry and variety.
Drinks, where do i start....all inclusive, no decent cocktails 200ml beer, never had beer served in the same size cup as a wine! Cheap plasic cups. No decent snacks as advertised, no icecreams except at lunchtime in the restaurant.
2 pools for all, we never went to the larger one, loud music and annoying animation team, but they left the few English there alone. The second pool was quieter, there was construction work ongoing, bit noisy but ok, the other pool was for i think superior and premium rooms, but no 200ml drinks or bar or anything else so avoided.
The pool staff, jobs worths, dont let you move anything, cant sit on the grass on your towel, cant hold drinks at the pool edge, you know, those large beers i was telling you about, cant sit with your feet in the pool with a beer. Best thing, not allowed to reserve chairs around the pool( although some did leave them for a few hours and nothing was said
Evening enertainment, we were there 11 nights and 9 of them was the same guy, he was good, but like watching the same tv programme every night
This hotel could be so good, but they are missing a trick, all inclusive is not good, we did have a good holiday, but would not recommend or return"
