"We stayed 10 days in room 503, a "Exécutive Ba-Ba" room at Seeko'o Hôtel Design Bordeaux.
This suite was roomy for European standards, but seeing how we were right under the roof, there was reduced headroom in the bathroom.
The room was very well air conditioned throughout our stay, which was important as we visited Bordeaux during a long heatwave at the beginning of July 2026.
We had a king size bed, a table with 2 chairs, a Nespresso coffee machine and a small minbar fridge, which was empty and had enough space to hold 6 big bottles of water ( or champagne !).
The toilet was in a separate water closet. The bathroom was compact, but 2 people could shave and/or brush their teeth at the same time. The water pressure was good in the large shower and we always had hot water right away.
The room is carpeted and there was a small balcony, about 6×6 feet with a table and 2 chairs. It was nice to sit and drink champagne with the view of the Jacques Chaban-Delmas bridge in the cooler evenings.
The staff were very friendly and helpful . Always smiling and ready to offer their help. We didn't use room service or take breakfast, but we did ask for a bucket of ice ( for the champagne! ) several times during our stay and it was always delivered within 5 minutes.
The maid service was efficient and prompt. We always returned to a clean room with the coffee pods topped up.
This hotel provides quality handsoap, shower gel, shampoo and body lotion, but no hair conditioner.
There were 2 bathrobes, but no slippers. There is a hairdryer, a safe and a large flat-screen TV. There are reading light on each side of the bed. The room has a entire wall of north facing windows that are equipped with thick blackout curtains to cut out the light and the heat.
The only negative aspects of the room would be the lack of closed storage, the stained carpetting and the fact that the elevator only goes to the 4th floor ( and these "Exécutive Ba-Ba" rooms are located on the 5th floor. )
There was a small open closet with a few hangars by the door and 2 open shelves under the TV, beside the safe. There was also a long shelf behind the headboard of the bed. The bathroom had a good sized shelf for all of our toiletries and there was a small shelf in the shower for our soap and shampoo.
We stayed 10 days and we were always tiding up the open shelving where we kept our socks, t-shirts and underwear. It would have been nice to have had a set of drawers to organize our stuff.
There was also no space to store our luggage, so it took up some space even though it was pushed in a corner. Having your large suitcases hidden adds a certain visual clarity to your living spare.
Seeko'o Hôtel Design is located in the Bacalan neighborhood and is within walking distance to the Cité du Vin, les Bassins Lumières and the Bord' eau Village, which are ancient water front warehouses converted into shops, restaurants and bars. We chose this hotel primarily for its moderness and it's location to these attractions. You can easily walk across the bridge to access the Right Bank of Bordeaux ( where you'll find Darwin Ecosyteme )
La Place de la Bourse and the 0ld Town is about 35 minutes by foot or about 15 minutes by tram. The Tram B passes right in front of the hotel and is served by the " Les Hangars" stop.
We highly recommend Seeko'o Hôtel Design for anyone coming to Bordeaux. Modern conveniences, excellent service and a good location to explore the old and the new of Bordeaux."
