Hotel Rosamar & Spa

"I have just had a great stay at the Rosamar Spa Hotel which means that: 1. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful: beautiful ladies at the reception - Eveline, Anna, Ashima and all other ones (can't name them all), and especially their Dutch trainee Stephanie who went out of her way to make my stay unforgettable! To add: superb Laura making greatest massages and facials, and the Spa ladies Vicky and Toni taking great care of their guests! 2. The kitchen was also great, lots of varieties, fresh food, local produce, cook Jefferson making huge impression by juggling 4-5 preparations simultaneously! 3. The facilities at the Spa were superb, the pools, the beach, the atmosphere - all inviting you to come back - and that's exactly what I am planning to do! All in all, I'd highly recommend Rosamar Spa for a memorable stay! Warmest greetings to all great people there!!"

"The hotel was in a great location, right by the beach at the end of the promenade. This end of the promenade is definitely quieter than the other end in the town center. Restaurants and shops start right next to the hotel. The hotel pool area is good, and at least in early June, there were plenty of sun beds available and always free. The outdoor pools are not heated, except for the jacuzzi. There is an indoor pool as well, but even that wasn't very warm. What was great about the pool area when traveling as adults was that the children's area was located lower down, and the adults-only zone remained peaceful. The hotel breakfast was really good with a wide selection. There were great breads, omelets, and plenty of fruit, plus sparkling wine and treats like churros, pancakes, and chocolate sauce as an extra. The hotel itself is not very fancy, and the rooms have not been recently renovated, despite what was written somewhere. Especially the bathrooms could use an upgrade. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. However, on the first night, a fire alarm went off in a room on our floor and rang for about 15 minutes before clearing up, which seemed to be a false alarm. No staff appeared during the incident, and the lobby was completely empty, leaving guests with no updates on the situation. Room cleaning varied among our group's three rooms. During our 8-night stay, sheets were changed just once on day five, instead of every three days as advertised. Occasionally, only one bed would be made, and in one of the rooms, the pillows were even left on the floor after housekeeping."

"The kitchen staff were extremely rude ! I wanted to take a croissant and 2 biscuits for my baby out of the dinning room so he can eat at the beach and a lady from the dining room came up to me and started shouting that I am not allowed to do so and that I took too much and made a fuss out of it leading to everyone around us to give us bad looks.. a felt horrible and left the dining room not wanting to come back ever to eat even if I paid for it. The cleaning staff wasn’t doing the job properly.. on the forth day I had to uncover the sheets myself to give them a reason to change them.. the coffee bar was never refilled, the coffee mugs never washed.. I understand it’s a very busy environment… but still…"
