"The hotel is beautifully designed from the outside to the inside. The staff are great and so helpful. The room was excellent, modern look and very spacious. The bed was enormous and very comfortable. This is a new hotel and at the moment is in pristine condition. The only slight and I mean slight concern is the amount of children that were there. Yes we went in August so we knew it would be busy with families but I have never seen so many kids. I’m sure after August the amount of children will drop. For me the look and the style of the hotel does not fit the clientele. This hotel when you arrive has a great modern sophisticated look which will slowly suffer with the amount of children there. The food was great and the choice of drinks was excellent. The hotel isn’t massive and within 30 mins you can see it all. The one thing which I thought was excellent and would love this at all hotels is , when you first get your sun bed towels you are shown a map of all the free sun beds, you then choose the ones you want and they are yours for the whole stay, no need to get up early to secure them. We sometimes went down at 11:30 and they were there empty.(brilliant). Once more, great looking hotel, great staff, great food and drink. Would go again just out of season."

"Sunrise Emerald Hotel – An Amazing Family Stay! We’ve just returned from 7 nights at Sunrise Emerald Hotel and honestly, we had such an amazing stay. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is a luxurious, all-inclusive resort with so much to offer, and there were plenty of highlights for our family of four. 🍽️ The food was a real standout. The buffet service was fantastic, with food constantly being replenished and an incredible variety of starters, salads, mains and desserts. There was genuinely something for everyone, and the quality and choice were excellent. The waiting staff were incredibly attentive, friendly and welcoming. Zoi deserves a special mention for greeting us so warmly every day and always making us feel welcome. Naresh, one of the chefs, was equally lovely and welcoming. We also appreciated the friendliness and service from Gaurav, Sushant and the Irish lady with her arm in a sling, among many others. 🏨 Our Junior Suite Sea View room was comfortable for our family of four. One of our favourite features was the sliding door that separates the two areas of the room. It meant the children could have their own space and almost felt like they had their own bedroom, which was particularly useful during a 7-night stay. ☀️ The sunbed booking system is excellent. You book your sunbeds on arrival and keep them for your entire stay, which means you don’t have to get up at ridiculous times to reserve a spot every morning! One thing we would suggest is making this process clearer at reception. When you arrive, you need to speak to the towel staff by the family pool, who will show you the available beds and book your preferred ones. There are also plenty of sunbeds by the beach, and you can change your beds as previous guests check out. The towel staff were particularly helpful, especially Bimish. We did have an issue with some guests not following the sunbed policy, but the towel staff, Ailsa, one of the managers, and a senior manager all dealt with the situation professionally and promptly. They even voluntarily compensated us for the inconvenience, which we really appreciated and felt showed how seriously the hotel takes guest satisfaction. 🏖️ The beach being so close to the hotel is another huge plus, and the regular drinks service to the sunbeds is fantastic. ❤️ Some of our favourite highlights: • The amazing buffet and huge choice of food • The daily ice cream truck with multiple flavours 🍦 • The mini golf course ⛳️ • The children's waterslides – just enough excitement without being too crazy! • The beautiful beach right on the doorstep • Drinks service to the sunbeds • The spa – we had treatments twice and both experiences were excellent. The spa manager was particularly accommodating and helpful. . The Kantina cafe by the pool with regular availability of snacks such as paninis, wraps, chips, pizzas etc for those times you don't want yo walk up to the buffet lunch service. • The adults-only pool and pool bar, although we didn't actually use these during our stay. A couple of things worth mentioning for anyone considering booking: 🏗️ There is currently some construction work taking place at the neighbouring hotel, so you can see a crane from parts of the resort. However, did we experience constant, overbearing noise? Absolutely not! It didn't affect our stay in any way and certainly wouldn't put us off returning. 👧 If you have young children, be aware that the family pool doesn't really have a shallow end. There is a hotel shop and shops directly across the road where you can buy floats, armbands etc. 🔧 A few things could do with some attention – the foot washer by the beach and the steam room weren't working during our stay, so hopefully these will be fixed soon. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay at Sunrise Emerald. The combination of luxury, fantastic food, attentive staff, beautiful surroundings, family facilities and the beach being so close made it a wonderful holiday for us. "We spent six wonderful days at Sunrise Emerald in Protaras, and we were extremely impressed with this beautiful new hotel and its excellent facilities. The hotel is particularly well suited for families. Our two-year-old had an amazing time enjoying the water slides, the kids’ club, and the children’s pool. The hotel’s private beach is absolutely beautiful and such a lovely place to relax and enjoy the sea. What truly took our experience to the next level, however, was the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff. A special mention must go to the hotel’s chef, Tasos. The hotel has three excellent restaurants, and both the food at the restaurants and the buffet were fantastic. It is clear that Tasos genuinely cares about his guests and takes great pride in what he does. He can often be seen walking around the hotel’s restaurants, checking in with guests, listening attentively, and doing everything he can to accommodate individual requests and preferences. His personal attention and willingness to help made a real difference to our stay. We would also like to give a special mention to Panagiotis, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. He was always pleasant and welcoming, and went far beyond what could reasonably be expected of him. His warm attitude and genuine desire to help made us feel truly looked after. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Sunrise Emerald. The beautiful facilities, excellent food, stunning beach, family-friendly atmosphere, and above all, the genuinely caring staff made our experience truly special. We would happily return and highly recommend this hotel to families looking for a beautiful and relaxing holiday in Cyprus."
