Anastasia Beach Hotel

"Checked into Anastasia Beach Hotel. This was the biggest mistake!! Do not waste your hard earned money on a substandard hotel not worthy of any stars let alone 4!! Once we were shown to our room number 425. We quickly inspected the room and within the hour checked out due to the poor state of the room and bathroom. The flooring was chipped with an injury waiting to happen eithe but tripping up or slicing a barefoot! The mattresses were sunken and the base of the beds weee torn and broken with the lining torn and hanging off the floor onto the dirty floor beneath. The seat to achair in the room was broken. The cheap was all wardrobe was flimsy with a dodgy sliding door. No safe too. Drawers broken / damaged. The bathroom was poorly lit and exposed the poor broken stainless steel fittings which were broken rusty and with sharp end exposed. The tiles and silicon sealing were mouldy and the toilet took 3 attempts to flush while the mirrors were rusty too. The balcony door locks were broken and the balcony itself was littered with rubbish on the side. We quickly went to reception and asked to be moved and showed the receptionist the video we took. Although apologetic we were advised all the rooms were the same and that the hotel operated on a non refund policy. We explained we have not cancelled. Merely expressing our disgust of the room but nonetheless no option offered to us so we checked out immediately. Whilst waiting we overheard kitchen staff complaining on the phone that they did not have enough fruit and vegetables to cater for the evening meal too. Whilst trying to take in the internal view of the balconies with the hanging plants, it became apparent to the inquisitive eye that the plaster of the balconies were cracked and eroded. I need to use the public toilet whilst waiting which was in the basement which again had broken tiles covered with mould and with broken fittings and no hand tiles. Hotels.com were not helpful and appeared to be happy to serve the hotel rather than assisting its clients for a resolution. Only to provide a goodwill gesture of £200 which was an insult. Do not book into this shabby hotel where you are treated as second class citizens. Yoh will regret it."

"I've been to many hotels, but this hotel was very bad. The rooms weren't cleaned, the towels weren't changed at all. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone. It's the worst hotel I've ever been to. The staff are so bad.Service very bad 👎"

"Hotel was clean and staff friendly. Very good location and excellent food. We had great time without the need to go out. I recommended it."
