Sunrise Jade Hotel

"Came to Sunrise Jade for a week of relaxation as I’ve not been well. Loved the peaceful pool area with NO POOL MUSIC - FABULOUS! I’ve stayed in hotels all over the world and it’s so hard to find anywhere that will provide peace and quiet so I can listen to my audio book and my own music and read etc. I would return to Sunrise Jade just for this peace! Combined with the padded sun chairs and towels that reach the end so you don’t burn your feet, a code to scan for food and drink at your chair and the two fabulous approx 30metre long pools - my husband and i are big swimmers and made full use of them. Daily yoga and aqua yoga for half an hour but we didn’t join in although kept meaning to as i love my yoga and stretching. The food in the buffet restaurant was varied and tasty - including the puddings which we were hoping we wouldn’t like but they were very good… The other two restaurants were also good, but we didn’t eat at the restaurants in the town that were included. Our room was spacious and dark with blackout curtains so we had great sleeps, although the soundproofing was not great and we were woken at 1am one night with banging from the room above us. I think people had just arrived and were putting clothes into the drawers but it sounded like they were dropping things on the floor. We had to call reception to investigate. There is a long broad walk all around the coast which is great for exploring or going for a run and there’s also steps into the sea in several places and a small beach area. All in all a great week and we would definitely return if we wanted a peaceful relaxing sunny week with no kids around."

"The hotel is clean, has good toiletries in the bathroom, food was good and you could eat outside on the terrace with a nice view of the bay/sea. Also very beautiful surroundings, garden and pools very well-maintained. What I liked less was that the hotel has no lounge chairs on the beach. It was a 3-minute walk to the beach, a steep path. When there were no ships for day trips in the bay (unfortunately, up to 10 ships with a lot of people came for swimming and loud music), it was very nice. It is about a 15-minute walk along the beach to Protaras."

"Returned last week from a 7 night stay at this lovely place. Due to last minute booking we had a room at the back of the hotel ( no sea view rooms left). The sun was beautiful on an evening on our balcony. We had the bed and breakfast option - lovely breakfast with with staff. We had chocolates from the housekeepers on an evening as they knocked to check if we needed anything - how lovely. The reception staff we so welcoming - especially ?Anwar who made me and my husband laugh every day. Beautiful pool, lovely boardwalk into protaras takes around 20 minutes - quiet location away from the boom of the strip. Will definitely return."
