"Hotel:
- Room:
We stayed in an apartment that sleeps 4, 2 full bathrooms both with showers and toilets so spacious. One kingsize bed separate bedroom with loads of wardrobe space and its own balcony, and a living room with pull out double sofa bed and kitchen facilities, and another separate balcony, so much room and so clean had everything we needed!
- Food:
The hotel is half board so breakfast and evening meal is included, the buffet restaurant was incredible, so much choice for everyone, every night is a different theme with extras to suit others tastes, they also had a live cooking station for every theme, Italian night they had fresh pasta being made in a cheese wheel, grill night they had bbq'd burgers etc. They also had an organic local food section which changed every day. They had foods to suit all allergies too. They have a separate section for young children with plastic plates and bowls, with your usual fruits, chips, nuggets, pasta, fish, sweets etc, at a small height so kids can help themselves really inclusive!
- Hotel & Grounds
The grounds in this hotel were endless, as you arrive there's a car park so if you hire a car you have the facility to park here and it's gated. Reception as you come in is filled with sofas and staff are so helpful, bar and entertainment area isn't huge but enough room for everyone to enjoy the discos and shows. Entertainment isn't great, have been to much better hotels with outstanding entertainment it is very basic. Drinks are reasonably priced too, a lot of choice from local and branded drinks. Pool areas are so clean and very well kept, staff and lifeguards con in stantly around, 3 pools to choose from in the main area, one for babies, one to dive in and a main deep pool. A separate subbed deck next to the snack bar which is out the way from noise and has big day beds to relax on. The kids pool area with slides is separate from the hotel you either go through the car park or through the spa on the underground floor. The kids area has its own snack bar with loads for kids to eat and drink, the slides are a bit rough (not easy to go down) but my boy had fun either way. Both pools have a 'use & reuse' box which I thought was so good, so people can leave behind their inflatables, pool toys, lilos and beach toys for others to use without going out and having to buy them. Thought this was so good as it becomes costly especially with multiple kids.
Location:
Palma Nova is beautiful, you have got bars, restaurants and shops galore you could walk around for hours! The beach is across the road from the hotel (just across the roundabout) and it's beautiful. Magaluf is also very nice (just avoid the main strip) the beaches are stunning and again loads of lovely places to eat and drink along the beach front! Highly recommend a few places to eat in Palma Nova, Turtle Beach, Siso Beach, La Vista, The Blue Bar and in Magaluf, Tom Browns, Blackbeards. All have incredible food, will put pics below. The hotel is located on a side street, which is helpful if you want to be away from the noise, at the end of the street (underneath the hotel terrace) there is a 24 hour emergency doctors which for some people it's great peace of mind!
For the kids:
Palma nova itself has lots of lovely little play parks for kids of all ages, and a few little fun fairs on the side streets too, all very well lit up and well kept we used them multiple times once the sun had gone down. There is a shop across from the hotel called 'Have Fun' it's a giant remote control car shop that you can hire out for little ones to take up and down the beach and they ride inside this was so fun for our 2 year old we did this multiple times too at sunset! was around €10 for 15 mins or €20 for 30 mins was worth every penny! Palma nova is completely flat and most of Magaluf is too so if you have a pushchair it's so easy to get around"
