BQ Cala Ratjada

"First of all, I will say that I am not a person who deliberately looks for negative features of a hotel, I rather focus on the positives and good time with my loved ones. Unfortunately, this hotel disappointed us in many respects. At the very beginning, there was a huge problem with accommodation, we had to wait 4 hours after arrival for a room (I understand, this is the hotel's policy), but we couldn't even use the shower by the pool or drink coffee from the buffet. Other disadvantages are: Further disadvantages are: -absolute lack of WiFi in the rooms or corridor - too few sun loungers by the pool -the entire chill zone is charged extra, not only the Basque beds mentioned in the description (we were literally kicked out of this zone :)) -drinks were mostly made from an automatic machine and were of really poor quality - basically no one from the staff speaks English, it is difficult to communicate because everyone speaks Spanish or sometimes German - as for the room, water is pouring from the shower and during our stay the air conditioning broke down twice for several hours - the worst meal was definitely the dinners/lunches - small selection and poor quality food, dinners were ok -the hotel staff were clearly focused on German tourists, they were served immediately, there was a visible difference in the treatment of other nationalities -microscopic swimming pool -the entire hotel has a lot of imperfections, it shows years of use, and the renovation has not changed much -the bar closes just before 11 p.m., the music is turned off and there is no option to order a drink a few minutes later On the plus side: +silence in the hotel +selection of dishes for dinner (including vegetarian options)"

"Hotel was great, staff were all friendly & helpful, we were bed & breakfast and the breakfast was great, a big selection from cereals to cooked. We had a junior suite and it was huge for 2 of us, Aircon was brilliant and well needed. Pool area is very relaxed and a bit too relaxed for us as we are quite lively but we was ok with this as we expected it prior as it's mainly German clients reading books. But there's plenty to do in the area all within a 10 mins walk, the beaches locally are stunning with Soll Moll being our favourite and the restaurants along the stunning promenade and harbour are outstanding and very reasonably priced. All in all we would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a quiet relaxed time with no screaming children running around. Facilities in the room were comfortable and cleaned daily. We personally probably wouldn't stop in this particular hotel again just due to how quiet it is but we would love to visit the resort again as it's such a beautiful area."

"The hotel is great ! It is already our second time here. The Staff is really friendly . Hotel rooms are comfortable. Food is deligthfull and fresh. Hotel itself is cosy and located in quite not really turistic area near forest. Fully recommend and see You next Year. Muchas gracias !"
