"Hotel
Check in is at 2pm and check out is 12. Late checkout is available (2pm, €15, 3pm, €20, 4pm, €25, 5pm, €30 and 6pm, €40 anything beyond 7pm is €50) but you have to request on the day and is not guaranteed. You are able to use the facilities until 6pm.
There are communal showers and a room to secure your luggage if you are unable to secure late checkout. The hotel will provide towels.
The hotel itself was very clean, there were areas that could do with a bit of a spruce up but by and large it was well maintained. The staff all seemed very friendly and were happy to help.
The hotel offers a free bus service to local towns (Playa del Ingles and Maspalomas), the bus will collect and drop off outside the hotel twice daily. Usually out is 10:30 and 11:30 and return is either 1:00 or 4:30. The same bus takes you to both. Playa Del Ingles is good for a bite to eat/drink and souvenirs whereas Maspalomas has more high end shops.
Many of the surrounding towns have Markets daily, the hotel has a list of these and can book a local taxi.
Rooms
I found the rooms to be on the small size but for someone that spends little time in the room this is not a problem, there was a good shower with all the usual amenities.
The room had plenty of sockets one with USB ports. The room also had a Bluetooth speaker/radio which was a nice touch.
There is a safe in the room, this is available to rent. It costs €5 which is refunded on return of the “key”, you must keep your receipt.
The room has a small balcony with a table, 2 chairs and a drying rack. Lovely for the evenings.
Beds are reasonably comfortable as are the pillows. However the first real issue - the sofa bed is awful. Thin mattress where you can feel the metal frame of the sofa bed through. It is literally a back breaker and is frankly terrible. You are better off taking the mattress and sleeping on the floor it was that bad. I ended up swapping so my daughter didn’t have to use.
Tea/coffee facilities in room, along with a fridge (that was really cold) and water was replenished daily.
The cleaner was good, replaced towels / water daily, made the beds and gave a general tidy.
Pool
There are 2 pools in the main area, both of a reasonable size.
The main pool was a pleasant temp, you might say warm. 1.5m depth all the way. No ‘shallow end’. The pools are also Salt Water. No issue but worth noting.
The smaller pool had a few slides for the kid but we did not use.
Sun beds and umbrellas are plentiful, I never had an issue getting one. Lounge beds are also available, free of charge - again first come first served. Beach towels are available from the hotel, €10 deposit plus a €0.50 cleaning fee.
There is a rooftop bar, restaurant and infinity pool however at the time of our visit (April 2026) were closed for refurbishment which was a shame and probably something that the holiday provider should have informed as this was a big factor when booking.
Restaurant
The hotel has one buffet style restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a good selection of food and certainly something for everyone. The food is generally of a good quality for a buffet restaurant and I could not fault the dishes. They were different every day and had a good variety.
Breakfast offered the usual cooked breakfast along with cold meats, cheese and bread, there was a large selection of fruit, pastries and porridge. Sausages were not the best, bacon was fatty and no poached eggs but they had black pudding, hashbrowns and good omelettes.
Lunch and dinner offered plenty of hot variety, salads and a variety of grilled meat/fish. The desserts were plentiful along with whippy ice cream.
Drinks are table service, can be a bit slow. After some observation it was clear those that were paying for drinks (i.e not all inclusive) were frequently visited to ask for drinks, where as those that were all inclusive after asking for the initial drinks were rarely visited again and had to be flagged down.
Bars
Amstel and Cruzcampo on tap. Certain branded alcohol included, I was surprised by how much. Anything that is not if you are all inclusive you will get a 30% discount.
Spa
The hotel has a large spa that offers various treatments. The hotel regularly offered discounts during our stay. Whilst we did not use we did hear good things about it.
Overall
For a 4 star hotel I thought this was very good. It was a pleasant stay and the hotel offered lots. The only real let down was the waiter service in the restaurant for drinks. If they were as quick to offer drinks as they were to clear plates it would be perfect…. Oh and the sofa bed, but the less said about that the better!
All in all a pleasant stay and I would recommend.
*All times/prices alluded to were correct at the time of our stay (April 2026), obviously these things are subject to change."
