"Stayed in the premium sea view double room with private pool and it was amazing. So chilled and peaceful. Only snag and it’s a tiny one, it would be fab to have a small shelf in the shower to put your toiletries on. Restaurant very clean and food very good. Staff are wonderful. Already planning next years stay."

"Nice hotel but could do with a total refurb! We usually go to the sister hotel in San Augustine and must say we prefer it! The San Augustine one has been refurbished, I think they did it during covid. Also more shops, restaurants, bars and beach walking distance from it. All this hotel has going for it is a nice view and the traffic noise on our balcony was horrendous! The only shop nearby a Spar was closed for refurbishment! Didn’t think much of the beach either, we wanted to move our sunbeds away from other peoples sunshade and got told to put it back! We didn’t pay all that money to come to the sunshine to be shaded by other people! Told the sunbed seller where to stick his sunbed and lay on the sand for a bit. Back at the hotel we were using the top pool mainly as it was quite and we thought adults only until this family arrived with a pair of very noisy and disruptive kids! I can’t go in the pool if there’s people splashing about as I need to keep water out of my ears, every time I went near the pool this kid was climbing on the handrail, throwing himself in the pool with a huge splash so I’d try the jacuzzi but he’d follow me there! The staff were all lovely but we won’t be back, we’ll stick to the San Augustine one. Also, we got off the plane at 9pm, didn’t get to the hotel until midnight with all the drop offs in Puerto Rico!"

"Have been coming here for twenty odd years now , and it improves each year . Found the hotel to be much cleaner this year , both in the room and in public places . I’m a vegetarian and have found the food choice and quality to be very good , especially like the spinach dishes . All the food we have had has been well cooked and hot . The patisseries have been put back under the heat lamps ( where not last year , but were the year before ) and shows that feed back is listed to . The main problem for me is the desserts and cake , some days the choice has been overwhelming , the quality outstanding and I’ve even been having the little moose dishes , that are gluten free , so nice . I’m supposed to be watching my weight !! No will power at all when it comes to lovely cakes and desserts !! Compliments to the chief !! Thank you , from one fussy , well to be honest , a very fussy eater !! Fussy in general . One thing that could make our experience more relaxing though , would you please stop children playing in the whirlpool. It prevents relaxation , for obvious reasons !!"
