"We booked this hotel after staying in the sister hotel for 3 nights the year before as two adults. We travelled as a party of 4 this time, 2 adults and 2 children ages 13 and 8, we booked via On The Beach and flew with Ryanair.
Hotel and staff
On entering the hotel you can see how clean the reception is. The hotel is super clean and has all the facilities you could want. Check in was swift and we were in our room within 10 minutes of entering the hotel.
We had an interconnecting room as we had a child over 13, this was two full rooms interlinked with a little corridor and two doors and was great, we had so much room and double of everything, so no fighting over the toilet and the shower!
The bathroom comprised of a toilet, a sink with storage underneath and a shower over a bath. We had issues with no hot water on the first night but no further issues after that.
The wardrobes are plenty big enough, two huge sides with sliding doors with both hangers and shelving. The safe is in the wardrobe. (40€ refundable deposit and 2€ a day to buy) You get two small bottles of water provided on checking in, there is a reasonably priced shop near the pools to buy more. There is tea and coffee making facilities as well as a small kitchen with plates, cups, glasses etc. There is also a fridge freezer, cooker and microwave although being all inclusive we didn’t use these.
The beds are two singles connected together, they don’t slide apart and are really comfy.
There are 2 pools and a little splash park. There was a bit of sun bed reserving but rarely before 8am, there was always plenty of loungers dotted around during the day, especially at the “children’s pool” this was mainly used by adults and was much quieter, no music on either. The main pool was a much better atmosphere. We didn’t use the splash park. There was always a lifeguard on, one of them was over the top strict but I suppose he was only doing his job.
Housekeeping is everyday expect Thursdays and Sundays, two towel changes a week and a bedding change. All housekeeping staff were super friendly.
Food & Drink
Couldn’t fault the drinks. Self service soft drinks, water, coffee/tea, beer, juice and wine, spirits are served and they have everything you would expect. Branded spirits are payable.
The buffet food is what you would expect. You can always find something and the selection is decent, it was always hot. There were themed nights so you could get different things but they always had the kids food on, pastas, chips, pizzas. Breakfast was 8-10, dinner 1-3 and tea 6:30-9:30
Snack bar was on in between meals, they had burgers, hotdogs, chips, pizza and a selection of cold sandwiches, vol au vents, cakes and donuts in a fridge on the bar.
On a Friday they had a huge Paella and mojito station, mojitos are normally 3.50€ each so this was great they were free, and they were strong!
Facilities & Entertainment
Pool Towels are 10€ each, can be changed daily and are refundable when you hand them back. The entertainment team are great, Maria especially, they got everyone involved in activities and games but there was no pressure if you didn’t want to.
There was an act or event most nights, singers, bingo, karaoke, music quiz so nice to break up the evening. They had patio heaters in the entertainment area and lounge bar, as were came in February it could get a bit chilly in an evening.
The upstairs lounge bar is a quieter vibe and had actual glasses instead of plastic ones. One bar staff to mention is Kinga, she keeps a very tidy clean bar and is super helpful.
Hints & Tips
* Bring your own plastic cups for the pool area, they provide them free of charge but I found them a bit small, they also provide paper coffee cups and paper soft drink cups.
* Towel pegs are a helpful, the wind picked up some days
* Bring more sun lotion than you think you need, we had to buy more and it’s expensive.
* Bring your own coffee sachets if you like a drink in a morning in your room, they do provide sachets of Nescafé and tea bags, but they don’t provide any milk.
* If you need to buy things there is a shop in the hotel, it isn’t too badly priced and is well stocked.
Overall we would definitely be back to this hotel, it’s basic but what you want, they have a lot of repeat guests year in year out which says something"
