"Excellent stay! This hotel was close to amenities, there were plenty of supermarkets around and it was less than a 10 min walk to the shops. There was plenty of choice for all. The beach is about 15 mins walk. The hotel itself is very clean and well kept. The pool area was lovely, no sun-bed wars, plenty of room for all. The bar was well staffed and there was plenty of choice. There was never a shortage of food. There was a constant supply around the pool when the main restaurant wasn’t open. I’ve a food allergy and I never once went hungry. I was well catered for. There was plenty of choice for everyone, the main restaurant may not look like there will be a lot of choice but there is and they keep it well stocked. The rooms were lovely, we found them to be very spacious, the balcony was a fantastic size and it over looked the pool. The beds were really comfy. No complaints at all. The hotel has a shuttle bus for the portaventura park, or if prefer to walk you can walk to it in 20-30 mins depending on your pace. We had a great stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time and we will be back! For any Rangers fans, there is Rangers pub less than 3 mins walk from the hotel, Blue Nose II, with some lovely memorabilia."

"Writing this review from my room in this hotel. While it is a very nice hotel I am so glad I only booked 7 nights and not 10 as with still 2 days to go I am itching to get home. Nothing wrong with the hotel itself. Rooms are clean and comfortable and have everything you need. The cleaners are out in force every day throughout the day. All of the staff are friendly and attentive. The food is great. Lots to choose from and something to satisfy every diet. Anyone that says any different is obviously to hard to please. What let's this hotel down is the lack of things to do through the day and on an evening. Just nothing happens. Evening Entertainment doesn't start until 10pm and got to say the entertainment was just pathetic. 1 night a quiz which lasted around 10 to 15 minutes then that was it. Done. Night over. Another night silent disco where anyone that wanted to take part could get a set of headphones and listen to the music. So anyone that didn't want to wear the headphones couldn't listen to the music. Just weired. I mean the ones that chose to wear them just sat at their tables looking stupid. It was comical. Another night was karaoke. Couldn't even hear the music. Microphones were louder than the music. And unfortunately although it was meant to be adult entertainment, it was took over by the kids. So if you want entertainment choose another hotel because you won't get entertainment here. Oh and take no notice of the pictures that show pool tables etc because there ain't any. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. These are obviously very old pictures and should be removed. Oh and another thing. Kids run riot in the corridors from all hours of the morning as their parents obviously don't have any respect for other people trying to sleep. Would I come here again. Sorry but no. When I go away I need the hotel to provide everything including entertainment and before 10pm. I shouldn't have to be looking elsewhere and leaving the hotel. Very sorry. A lovely hotel with lovely staff and food etc but it's not for me."

"Stayed here for 4 nights...calling it a 4 star hotel is a joke... I would not even give it 2 stars. Firstly...check in at 3pm..fine hotel policy.but we arrived at 11 am and had to rent a locker for 6 euros to keep our things Secondly ... no fridge in the room given..at start The elevators were not working for 2 of the 4 days we stayed..it was a pain to walk down from 7th floor to the first and the ground floor a few times with a special need kid with us... Room - compact...no fridge..we called reception then they provided us with one...not at all sound proof..could hear kids running in lobby..the AC was for namesake...I was sweating in the night.. Even a 3 star hotel provides with a kettle..some glasses and tea and coffee items along with at least 1 water bottle...here all we had was 4 paper cups given just once.. No one bothered to re stock once they were used unless they expected us to reuse the same for 4 days.I had to buy a glass for the kids and myself. Pool area- I was baffled that they would not provide with pool towels....I mean seriously?? As a result there were kids running in the lobby area without being dried up adequately causing water on the marble floor...we even saw a man slip and fall near the lift on either 23rd or 22nd October. It was after he fell that one chef who was passing by put a caution sign there. I mean how safe is this so called 4 star hotel. Staff- no smile...at all apart from a couple in the dinner service. Food - buffet not ready nor organised.not a single time in 4 days we could see the buffet fully stocked up for breakfast or dinner..as a result, we either had to eat what was a left over or wait a a long time for restock. It was obvious that they were accommodating guest beyond their capacity and failing badly. Never again to this hotel even if it is free."
