Hotel Estera

"I recently stayed at Hotel Estera and can confirm that its location is excellent for exploring Krakow. It serves as a convenient central base for visiting the Old Town, Kazimierz, and the Jewish Ghetto, among other sights. Plac Nowy square is fantastic, offering a wide variety of local street food. You'll also find numerous bars and restaurants to suit every preference. My personal favourite was Alchemia, which I highly recommend. My only criticisms, and the reason for not awarding five stars, relate to our room (303). The room featured two ceiling/annexe windows with blinds that were only operable by someone around 6 feet tall standing on a chair. Additionally, the room had a peculiar smell, reminiscent of stagnant water. The breakfast offering, however, was excellent and served daily from 7 am to 12 noon."

"Ideally located in the heart of Krakow's historic Kazimierz, Jewish District, Estera is a real delight to stay. My wife and I along with two friends stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed the experience. So much in fact that we would most certainly book in again. The hotel is modern, clean and offers everything one could possibly need. The rooms are clean, large, extremely functional and very well maintained. The breakfast is probably one of the best I've personally ever encountered. Really everything you could imagine was available, and all of great quality and taste. The staff from start to finish were nothing less than professional, charming and hard working, a real credit to the hotel in truth."

"My wife and I stayed at the Estera Hotel in Krakow for a weekend break (Friday to Monday) and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. From the moment we arrived, the hotel felt warm and welcoming. The gentleman on reception was polite, helpful, and spoke excellent English — we were checked in and in our room within minutes. Our room was clean, tidy, and nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. The shower ran lovely and hot, and we really appreciated having a mini-fridge to store a few drinks and snacks. The room temperature was kept comfortable throughout our stay, with an easy-to-use controller if you wanted to adjust it. Housekeeping visited daily, keeping everything fresh and well presented. Breakfast each morning offered a great variety — from hot options like bacon, eggs, sausages, and beans to cold meats, pastries, fruit, and cereals. The only small downside was the WiFi, which had an intermittent fault during our stay, but it wasn’t a major issue. Overall, Estera Hotel provided a lovely base for our weekend in Krakow, and we’d happily stay again. The location was well supported with a market square and plenty of venues for enjoying a drink and food. Within a few minutes you can be in the modern shopping and entertainment complex just outside the area."
