Antique Apartments Old Town

"My family and I stayed here for 4 nights. 5 of us in total parents (me and my partner), with our 17, 19 and 24 year olds. We stayed in Sławkowska 23 in a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 balconies - 1 on the street and 1 in the court yard. The apartment was well equipped with cooking utensils, we only ate breakfast in the apartment. On arrival there was tea, coffee, sugar and milk. The kitchen also was provided with washing soap and sponges. In the bathroom there was handwash and body/ hair wash. There also were 2 washing capsules for the washing machine. The little hallway had place to hang coats and even provided 2 umbrellas. The beds were comfortable one room had 2 beds, other had 3 beds and living room had a pull out bed. Little bug bears are: 1. Shower leaks whenever anyone had a shower the bathroom flooded. 2. Bedroom with the balcony on one of the windows there was only one curtain so couldn't pull fully across at night (its like one of them got broken and wasn't replaced).' Can't beat the location our family loved the street with a gay bar downstairs and a busy square at the bottom of the street and quieter options in the side streets."

"Absolutely lovely apartment although we didn't realise that some accommodation is at a different location about 15minutes walk. That said it was a very well appointed apartment and as the weather was quite cold it was nice to get back to a warm apartment. Very clean and the receptionist at the main location was very friendly and helpful. Hope to come back here."

"We stayed at the end of November and we were very disappointed. We were aware of the refundable deposit just in case there were any damages which was refunded the same day we checked out, which was good. We stayed in an apartment in Studencka Street a five minute walk from reception. Upon arriving we were disappointed because I can only describe the entrance and stairs leading to the apartment as a building site; dust, dirt and old doors propped up against walls. The apartment absolutely stunk of cigarettes this was mixed with the smell of what I believe to be air freshener it made me feel sick. I complained to reception asking to move immediately they were apologetic and asked me to go up to reception the next day, woke up the next day our clothes stunk of smoke although we tried our best to keep the majority in the suitcase to prevent this. I wasn’t happy due to fact we were on a short city break with pre booked tours etc we didn’t have time to walking up to reception all the time. we decided not waste our short time, grin and bare it and to be honest we couldn’t be sure we wouldn’t be put any where worse. The decor and furniture was dated and showing signs of age, the floors creaked a lot when walked on especially in the bedroom. Window barely opened in the bedroom which we needed to leave open when out to get rid of the smell of smoke, pillows so old the stuffing had clumped together. I couldn’t sleep at all with the old lumpy pillows, again I didn’t have time to be going to reception to complain. The floor was sticky at the side of my bed, cup stains on bedside table, towels not changed in the four nights we were there and no spares available. Run out of toilet roll had to buy our own. A WhatsApp number is provided to get in touch with reception however to then still need to go reception after contacting them, makes contacting on WhatsApp - pointless! I would not recommend staying here. I absolutely loved Krakow and the tours we did however it was tainted by this experience with the accommodation. It actually made my partner and I, grumpy through lack of sleep and disappointment. "
