"The location is great. However, the room has very poor soundproofing. I could clearly hear people talking upstairs and next door. Additionally, the bathroom pipes make constant noise whenever someone upstairs uses the bathroom, which is quite disturbing."

"Park Centraal Amsterdam: proof that a great location can convince a hotel to stop trying. The location is fantastic. Unfortunately, you’re paying for the privilege of being centrally located while apparently funding absolutely nothing else worth mentioning. For a hotel trading on its name, image, and presumably the concept of hospitality, the actual experience is a rather impressive exercise in managing expectations — specifically, lowering them. Two really big issues during this trip 1. Bathroom door is quite thin and doesn’t fully close. So if your idea of a romantic holiday is to hear the sweet sounds of your partner defecating, this is the place. 2. We left on Sunday and they didn’t tell us in advance there was a marathon that would Block the streets all around the hotel so we would have to walk and plan more travel time You know that feeling when you book somewhere expecting a little Amsterdam charm and instead wonder whether you’ve accidentally checked into an overpriced experiment in minimal effort? That."
