Hotel Harmony

"The room was small with a lingering cigarette smell despite being advertised as non-smoking. Mold was found on the aircon unit, and although it was cleaned, the odor remained. Need to iron your clothes? Good luck. There is no iron in the room, and the ironing service is a confusing ordeal. We asked 72 hours in advance and were given a series of conflicting answers too busy, bring it in the morning, maybe later but in the end, no resolution. Even simple policies seem impossible to follow. Breakfast was underwhelming, with limited options for vegetarians, stale items, and hygiene issues. The pool area is small and unsafe; a manhole cover was left open, which could have been dangerous for children. Early check-in was the only positive, but overall the bathrooms smelled damp, rooms carried a persistent smoke odor, and staff seemed disorganised and unaccountable. This hotel has serious operational issues, and I would not recommend it."

"This is a lovely, smallish hotel, set on a quiet road, a 5 minute stroll to the beach etc in Petrovac. The room was serviced efficiently every day. The buffet breakfast provided a large choice, changing every morning. The staff were excellent, especially the young lady on reception, who was friendly and helpful and the waiter who was always ready to serve us drinks at the pool ( remembering our order from day to day!) The smallish pool was rarely crowded and we always managed to get sunloungers on our regular pool mornings. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars relates to the owners plus their friends and family. They tended to be surly and non communicative , which was awkward as they lived at the top of the building. A couple of days they even instructed the staff to reserve 4 of the 12 sunloungers, even though guests were instructed not to!! However, this apart, Harmony is a lovely, beautifully maintained hotel and it certainly gets our recommendation."

"I can highly recommend this hotel. It's small and friendly, all the staff from receptionist to cleaner smile and speak to their guests...they are justifiably proud of their hotel. It's positioned in a small back street about 500 metres from sea front and extremely clean and comfortable. The rooms are well furnished and spacious with very comfy beds. Fresh towels every day and fresh bed linen every other day. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and the choice and quality of food available for breakfast was good...try the apple and pumpkin pies 😘! The pool is very small, but great for cooling off and like the rest of the hotel, exceptionally clean. This is a lovely place to stay and we will be returning."
