Hyatt Regency Zadar

"Lovely hotel by the waterfront just opposite the old town. You can get across in a couple of minutes on a small rowboat for two euros, or walk around via a bridge in 20 minutes. Rooms are large and comfortable, with great bathrooms. Food and drink is excellent, including some delicious cocktails. Pool is excellent - partly outdoors and partly indoors, with bubble jets and a warmer water section inside. There are ample sun beds available. Although there is no beach nearby, you can enter the water for a swim about 200 meters up the road to the right of the hotel. Overall, this hotel is a gem. It is a historic building that formerly housed a factory for making cherry liqueurs - some of the cocktails on offer contain this ingredient, which is a nice touch."

"Just returned from a stay the Hyatt regency in Zadar. Amazing! It is truly a lovely hotel. In a fantastic location. With excellent dining, bars, Indoor /outdoor pool, spa. Everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Breakfast was included which had a lovely selection of hot/cold food including made to order eggs. Everything we had throughout our stay was delicious. A big thankyou to Raquel who looked after us at breakfast. She called us by our names which was nice & remembered our likes. Such lovely friendly staff member. A credit to the hotel. We did have issue with the room allocation on arrival. Our booked category was a deluxe room with balcony. We had requested a higher floor room which was noted. When we went to the room, the balcony was a concrete wall which we could not see over. (See photo) Even though we had asked at checkin if we had a view from the balcony and were told yes. Unfortunately, the member of staff was not able to resolve the issue. However, the GM - Valentin took over showed us another 3 rooms for us to choose from. We are very thankful to him. The initial start at checkin was not a very good experience. It’s important that guests are given the correct information by checkin staff. On our last day Valentin came to chat to us whilst we waited for our taxi in reception. His approach was very professional throughout."

"Just returned from a week here, and the hotel was exceptional. Thank you to the hard working team, Dragur, cheeky Raquel and Archie for making our breakfast and pool service excellent. Hotel spotless, pool lovely, plenty of beds. Breakfast choice excellent, fresh produce. Stayed in room with balcony, overlooking harbour, stylish, clean, comfortable. Would have like non smoking areas, especially when eating and by the pool. The staff make this hotel. Would like to see more vegetarian options on pool food menu, hummus and pitta would have been great, finger foods.Fenix restaurant superb."
