"Given that we paid almost 1000 pounds per person for a week and this hotel is apparently 4*, we were left quite disappointed.
The pool is beautiful and very clean, and the private beach is an absolute bonus with stunning water.
You're in a very rural area, which is lovely but you are very cut off from civilization. The buses are infrequent and unreliable, and where you wait for them is not shaded at all.
If you want to get a taxi for a 10 min car drive, it's over 100 euros (if you can even get one). Why doesn't the hotel operate a shuttle mini bus system into nearby towns? 2 euros a head and then you're making a profit as EVERYONE will want to get out of the hotel to see some form of civilization eventually. Especially as there is no shop on site, so if you run out of suncream you're pretty much screwed.
Every day in this hotel is Groundhog day. Same playlist for water aerobics every single day around the pool, up to twice a day. Same music playlist in the evening for kids music which makes you go absolutely insane when there are only 2 kids in the whole hotel and you have to listen to the same thing every single night.
The food is okay, very samey samey and only 1 restaurant which is buffet style, so there is no form of variation. However, this does tend to be the case when the hotel is all inclusive.
The staff that work in there are very friendly though.
There is 1 pizzeria down the road which was an absolute saving grace just to get out of the hotel at nighttime for food.
You'd think as you're quite secluded from anywhere within walking distance and there is a private beach alongside the hotel, they would have kayaks, padel boards etc for you to use, but no sign of this at all. Even the mini golf was two giant pitching wedges and and a foam ball which meant they were useless.
Dated rooms, but extremely clean and towels and bedding changed very regularly. Just needs to be updated. The stairs in our room that took you up to 3 single beds(I imagine for families with young children) are really loose and a bit scary to go up and down.
The staff are absolutely lovely, we were greeted by the nighttime receptionist and he was very accommodating and left us a cold dinner in our fridges as we were very delayed. If there are any problems, the reception team are really helpful and friendly.
The lifeguards are also very friendly and chatty, as well as most of the bar staff by pool bar (although some of the bar staff can be quite abrasive with younger people).
There are no toilets around the pool, so you have to keep going back to your room or using the 1 toilet per gender by the restaurant which can be a bit frustrating.
Ultimately, if you love witnessing and eating the same things every day, you don't want to venture out of the hotel and you just want to sunbathe around the lovely pool all week, then this is the hotel for you.
This hotel could be brilliant if there was a bit more love and care involved surrounding transport and activities.
I've seen reviews that have highlighted the same things I have mentioned above and there has been no changes made by the hotel so far."
