"Right in the heart of dalston, ideal location for bars and restaurants. Staff on reception rude, one member of staff was stood outside on his phone leaving reception unmanned. The security guard who was helpful went to get member of staff to assist me with coffee etc for my room, the rude male member of staff contined to talk on his phone whilst he gave me condiments for my room then he went back outside. Hotel corridors generally dirty which were not hoovered in my 5 day stay leaving bits of rubbish around. Carpets on corridors badly stained also. The hotel could do better with customer service and house keeping."

"The apartment was fabulous! Stunning interiors and sufficient amenities. With respect to the room, the only issues that I had really, were: (1) I was not allocated what I had called ahead to enquire and reserve, despite being told that would be the case (2) The USB/USB-C outlets did not work. That was resolved by borrowing a plug from reception Otherwise, everything else worked as expected and my requirements were satisfied. Upon checkout, there was an incident between myself and the Duty Manager - Nina - who thought it was appropriate to raise her voice at me and oversee my departure from the room, as opposed to allowing me a few minutes to gather myself. I had a late checkout and had overrun into the time due to a personal circumstance that I was tending to (which I accept full responsibility for), however, her attitude towards me was highly inappropriate and unprofessional."

"if you booked well in advanced. My partner had a booking at the hotel and when she arrived she was informed that whilst they had her booking the hotel was overbooked and she had no room, this was past midnight and she was alone. how is it possible that the hotel is fully booked yet still allowing people to make bookings? She was told this is a regular occurrence, if this is a known issue then why has nothing been done to rectify this or is this the staycity standard? This seems like pure greed on staycitys part with absolute no care for their guests. This is a 4 star establishment I would expect much better from you, even 2 or 3 star hotels don't do this!!! The very least you should be informing guests in the morning/afternoon about the overbooking, NOT waiting till midnight or when they show up as its not acceptable!!"
