Point A Shoreditch

"Great location, good value, clean, and efficient service. The rooms are quite small and they don't load you up with in-room amenities but you can buy anything you forget onsite. Also, housekeeping is only offered every 4th day. It isn't fancy but gets the job done. Perfect for a business trip or another trip where you just need a bed and aren't spending much time in the hotel."

"£190 for one night. That includes a 15-minute check-in experience. The staff member stood watching and advising while I struggled through the process. I’m sorry, but isn’t checking guests in literally the job? The room itself was basic, but the lighting system was anything but. A ridiculous, overcomplicated setup. For £190 a night, I expect a basic level of service and a room that justifies the price. Instead, I got a basic room, a needlessly complicated light show, and the distinct feeling I’d been ripped off."

"Exceptional service and such lovely staff I would like to give a special thank you to Irene and her colleague, who checked me in at Point A Hotel in London on September 9th. Even though I have stayed at this hotel several times before, they were incredibly kind and welcoming. They patiently explained everything, asked how my day had been, and genuinely made me feel looked after. There was also a small issue with my reservation regarding breakfast, which was not originally included. They were so kind and offered me breakfast despite the booking mix-up. It was such a thoughtful gesture and really made my day. People like Irene and her colleague are exactly the kind of people who should be working in guest-facing positions — and, in my opinion, they deserve to be even higher up. They are professional, warm, attentive and simply lovely. Thank you so much, Irene. You truly made my day, and I left feeling that I had met the right people in the right place. A very big thank you to Iren, September 9th, Room 322. You are a credit to the hotel!"
