"Hello from Ukhta, Russia! I want to state upfront that I am giving an evaluation based only on my impressions and comparing only with hotels in Hurghada (which I have visited). We were on vacation with my wife from mid to late October. For us, comfort is the main thing, so we took the "ultra." Upon arrival, we were welcomed like family, we had the privilege of check-in, but something didn't work out and we were taken to "Pureshk" for a day. Pompous hotel building, its own but shared (connected to other rooms) heated pool. Strange pillows that I didn't like. A small cafe of a restaurant type on the top floor. Why a cafe? Well, the dining places in the hotel don't measure up to the title of a restaurant in my opinion. In Aldau, you feel like you're at a food court in some mall. For dinner, many Europeans wear shorts and tank tops. Of course, you can "throw yourself into it" and not notice the nuances, because we have "ultra," but the top shelf of the suggested whiskey was tried by me after studying at the vocational school and serving in the army in the late 90s)) the bottle of "good" red wine gifted upon check-in remained sad in the room. So, you definitely shouldn't get "ultra" just for drinking. I eat and drink a little, so I want something tasty. Since he got hooked on food. Pros: pastries! This is a masterpiece! Here is a little more magic in the hands of the pastry chefs, and it will be like a native person who knows how to make these sweets for you. Definitely 5 out of 5. Everything else is average, normal, a little seasoned, mixed with something fresh, and more or less in assortment, and we get to meat - the negative. So, like at a hotel, meat and something from it, we are cooking with friends on a fishing trip, having had a little drink. This is just garbage for such a hotel. Of all the "à la carte," I single out the "sushi bar." I happily returned there again. Because of the "ultra" status, my wife and I could eat everything without limits. I don't know if they even exist. All these doubts about the food are smoothed over by the staff's attitude. At "Aldau" it is at a high level (please do not forget that I am comparing with Egyptian hotels). Yes, like everywhere, the guys are working to the bone. There are many staff members, they are not intrusive, they try to joke. Tips add a little sparkle to the eyes)) I gave out about 50 bucks during the 12-day vacation. A little for such a hotel. In short, the staff are great! After sleeping poorly in "Pure live", we moved to the main building "Aldau", and we were assigned a rather large room right above the reception, opposite the stage. I don't consider myself lucky because I accepted that the hired artists work three shifts and possibly for free. Were you at karaoke? Sometimes they start filming the singer on their phone there. No one has filmed here... Well, there was good too - they didn't sing every evening. Gymnasts or acrobats performed a couple of times - very well. Again, I am neither one nor the other, and I myself cannot jump beautifully or sing well. At home we fall asleep at 10 PM and wake up at 6:30. Just like that, without an alarm clock. And here there's a number in one place and people who haven't talked to anyone for years but now met and drank on a brotherhood. The plus of this room is that you can watch the show while sitting in your underwear in a comfortable chair on the balcony. Minus - sometimes they sang songs... I don't remember the hotel we left tired from. But we didn't ask for a replacement ourselves. So there are no complaints about the noise. Upon checking into the room, our assistant named Saif activated. His duties included fulfilling our wishes throughout the entire vacation. Any and around the clock. It's like a friend who is constantly hanging out in some establishment, and then you come and ask him to "bring you up to speed." "Saif, can I have a few mangoes and cookies in the room? - No problem, sir!" " Sir, I have booked the à la carte for you at 8:00 PM. We want at 6:00 PM. Okay, I'll correct it."Assistant is definitely 5 out of 5. We dropped off clothes at the dry cleaner a couple of times (the "ultra" price includes daily washing and ironing). I'll say that they don't behave and don't iron so well at home. Clothes like from a store. Stepping out of the room, you realize how large and well-kept the hotel grounds are. Plus - trees, plants, and a huge manicured lawn. It's quite a distance to the sea, and if you walk, you'll have to look back a couple of times every five minutes to let a golf cart with tourists or cargo pass. You feel like you are walking along the highway... After nodding a couple of times to the cow drivers and listening to the cawing of the ravens, we approach the sandy beach. Volleyball, stretching classes, and other activities - everything is available and there are enough people. We were in season (32 air 27 water). It would be very pleasant to bathe, BUT! If you don't know how to swim. In the morning, in many places you can walk to the buoys. Very fine. After lunch, you can swim. Be careful when entering the water - there are many shell and stone fragments. Farther from the shore, there are much fewer of them. Walking along the pier at the edge of the hotel grounds, you can look at Red Sea fish. There aren't many of them swimming among the sand-covered reef remnants. But interesting. Don't like the depth for swimming in the sea? There is a pool - it is about one and a half meters. Deeper than near the buoys in the mornings. The pool is good! It can safely be called big. There is a waterfall with a grotto (you can swim inside), there are marked paths on the bottom for swimming, you can sit in the water at the bar counter without leaving the pool, there is a rather long "lazy river with donuts" to the pool - 5 out of 5. There are quite a few sun loungers, but, as usual, there are towels on them)) In the hotel, 85% of the guests are foreigners, so there are enough of those people in Europe too)) I saw a man of Arab appearance come to the beach with the specified women and just crumpled up someone's towels and laid his ladies on the empty spots. It seems somehow wrong, and then it dawned on me - the towels are just lying dry at the locations. Neither shoes nor things. Well done! I leave the beach at 10:30 and return at 4 o'clock. I am there for about 40 minutes both times. But if, it wasn't me who dropped your towels while you are having breakfast or going somewhere. This is a brave Arab with his women)) Overall, the hotel is suitable for pensioners with grandchildren. To one, it doesn't matter who is singing, and to others, not yet, it doesn't matter either. And people who know how to enjoy simple things will also find a sea of positivity here."
