"Where to start; well first impressions were perfect. Very large and very clean. Reception staff at 1.30am were very helpful and welcoming. We were very tired when we were taken to our room 3060 but once we got there we swiftly had a bit more energy once we seen how big the room was, how clean it was, the fab layout of the bathroom which had a shower over the bath and the best was "just right". The following morning my daughter and I went a walk around the resort and were met by some reps offering different services. Upon initial impressions the man for the shop is very keen for you to buy something even if you don't want anything. No prices on most items in the shop was off putting so we didn't shop in it. It's no big deal and didn't have any impact on the holiday.
We were then met by Slim, the rep for photography. Oh he is lovely and certainly not pushy, he accepted that we'd had professional photos done at a nearby hotel last year so didn't want it done again so soon. Afterwards he honestly treated us as if he'd always known us, he is lovely.
We were then met by Mr. Happy regarding excursions. Again he provided the same lovely service as Slim did. He wasn't sure of the cost of the excursions my daughter and I wanted so he asked the customer relations lady to assist. I let her know where we wanted to go and when but would firstly like a price and I advised her I could only pay by card payment via my phone. She asked me to WhatsApp her and she would get back to me once she spoke with the excursions agency. However, we later received a WhatsApp message saying that our excursions were booked then advised me of the prices. Should have been the other way about as we may not have liked the prices. We agreed to pay her since it was already booked (we didn't ask for it to be booked, we just wanted a price and availability) but the card machine was down so she wanted me to pay the driver or have him take me to a cash machine. I was not comfortable with this as I was alone in Tunisia with my daughter without my husband. I asked her if we could just leave it but again became very pushy over messages. I contacted my husband back home for advice who said to ignore her, I'd shown him the messages confirming I hadn't actually agreed to it being booked before it was booked. This lady didn't speak to us the rest of the holiday.
Jihan from the spa was ever so lovely, like Slim and Mr. Happy she was out walking about to introduce her services. I've been to previous spa hotels and found them very expensive. When this beautiful lady showed me their prices and treatments I thought they were wrong as they were so low. Both myself and my daughter booked in for mummy/daughter time and I can honestly say this was the most precious moment we've shared in a long time. The full spa experience from start to finish was out of this world for both of us. All the staff at the spa worked on us perfectly and made us feel perfect. Please if you visit here book the spa, you won't regret it!!!
The cleaning lady for our room 3060 was perfect, very respectful and always done a beautiful clean each and every day.
Mahmoud in the restaurant is just a kind soul, he kept us a table every night in a quiet corner and always made sure we'd had a lovely day. He loves helping the guests. I must say all the restaurant and bar staff throughout the hotel are ever so helpful and have such kind hearts. We are so happy to have met such lovely people.
Finally Najeh, what can I say? This man has a heart of gold. He always made sure myself and my daughter were ok and was more than helpful with our luggage. We miss him and the rest of the team except the customer relations lady ever so much. We have already booked to return next April as a mother/daughter only holiday again as we felt son "at home" at this safe, friendly, clean hotel.
The only issue we had and I've seen it's already been mentioned but the WiFi is poor. It cuts out every 2 mins. Please can this be looked into? You might need a few different WiFi connections for different parts of the hotel to prevent too many people using it at once causing it to crash."
