"Wow what a place! One of our best holidays yet!
The animation entertainment team definitely made it for us! From the foam party’s, the pool party’s, the beach Cappadocia party was insane! The kids fest was outstanding, how special was that, my kids were amazed!
The kids club was so lovely also. You can go in with them or leave them and there is so much for them to do in there. Crafts, mini cinema, soft play, trampoline, games, painting, face painting. Lots of fun.
Omar was a great PA and knows how to get the party started and Soukarna was a clear favourite for our girls, so kind and made them feel so included in everything.
The mini disco for the kids was fun for them and they are still doing the dances that they have learnt now.
The shows were of a high standard and we loved watching them, just wish we were staying longer to watch the whole line up!
They had lots of daytime activities on also but we didn’t take part in these.
The mini zoo was farm like, the kids loved feeding the animals. It felt very personal. The man in charge of the zoo was wonderful despite his lack of English he was kind and we managed to get by and be shown how to feed and given tips from him also!
The golf course was being build whilst we were there.
The room was nice, clean and fine for somewhere to ‘sleep’ at the end of a busy day. Cleaned daily to a good standard. Couldn’t hear our neighbours which was nice, we were in the block by the aqua park.
The main restaurant was plentiful, there was so much to choose from. My child has allergies and they were very accommodating to make her specific dishes that she wanted from the chef.
The staff in the restaurant were so attentive. A personal favourite waiter of ours was Abdulla, he was a hard worker and always had time to have fun tricking the children.
The aqua pool restaurant was lovely for lunch and I felt like less choice served us well so it wasn’t as overwhelming of what to choose. We liked the variety in this one.
The huts by the pool bar also served various snacks at different times of the day which was Great, such as wraps, turkish oklava, fruit, jacket potatoes, waffles and ice creams. You will never go hungry.
We went in the Mexican restaurant (as a courtesy meal) the food and service was amazing. Just too much food, we wanted to go pop! Great atmosphere and nice to eat somewhere different!
The grounds were spotless, you could always see how hard the ground staff were working to make the place look amazing!
Cats were everywhere which we didn’t mind, we love cats. We loved seeing them. We encouraged our children not to stroke them as they are stray but hard when you see other families man handling them!
It was so nice to not worry about sun-beds, we woke up when we wanted and wandered down to the pool at a nice time with no concerns about finding somewhere to sit around the pool. We always went to the aqua park so can’t talk about the rest of the pools. It made such a difference.
The pools were lovely, clean areas, fun places to be but very hot and slippy under feet, water shoes for the kids are a must!.
We used the aqua park everyday.
The slides were fun for us and the kids and it definitely made the holiday fun for all. They do close for lunch but we were happy with this as also gave us a rest from going on with the kids haha!
Complaints.
The sofa bed isn’t a bed you would want to sleep in for more than a couple of days and for a little child only. We asked for an actual bed and reception were good enough to provide this as it wasn’t an acceptable bed for our child to sleep on for nearly 2 weeks, so we were pleased this was resolved for us.
The pool closures are frustrating, as you can see the lifeguard team literally asking parents to put nappies on their children and being ignored, it is the ignorant guests causing those issues unfortunately. The hotel are following health and safety procedures.
The fire alarms going off is one of our biggest complaints. We didn’t get a restful sleep at all.
We went to guest relations nearly every other day about this. One night they went off 7 times through the night and 15 within an hour one morning! Only a couple of nights with no alarms in 10 days. All times of the night.
This for us became a massive safety concern as you became desensitised to them, therefore if there was a real fire people would be put at risk. When complaining the hotel they told us it is as other guests are smoking in their rooms. They have told us this is not allowed by guests but they continue to do it, causing the alarms. To note there are no clear no smoking signs in the rooms, they provide an ash tray and matches also in the room. Guests should surely be fined for this, if it is causing so many complaints. We were told many times that an engineer was coming to fix the fault also, it clearly never got fixed.
It’s such a shame as this definitely put a big downer on our time here. Sleep is precious especially on holiday! We were thankful for the courtesy meal provided but didn’t bring back the sleep lost on holiday.
The benefits definitely outweigh these complaints but they had to be mentioned.
We would definitely love to come back to the hotel again but only if we know the fire alarms situation was definitely fixed. The hotel is outstanding otherwise!"
