Ali Bey Resort

"We have just returned from a wonderful week here at AliBey. We are a family of four, with two children ages 16 and 10. First impressions of the hotel were excellent. Checked in quickly. Given a lift to our room on a buggy and had help with our luggage to the room. The hotel is exceptionally clean, set in beautiful grounds. You feel as if you are in a tropical paradise. The hotel grounds are so well kept and cared for. It really is stunning. Our room was a double room, again exceptionally clean, comfortable beds, a fully stocked mini bar. The room was cleaned every day, fresh towels replaced daily. Beds changed every other day, wine and a fruit platter left in our room on arrival which was nice. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel all provided. The service we received throughout the resort was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. All staff work incredibly hard and every single staff member we encountered were friendly and polite and we were always served as quickly as possible. Tubna was so wonderful and even remembered our drinks order. She had a chat with us at the pool side and is incredibly hard working. Please give this lady a pay rise and a promotion! Hasan served us in the restaurant and was very friendly and helpful. Setnay was lovely as well and welcomed us at the pool and had a chat with our daughters. The food in the restaurant was really nice, freshly cooked and plenty of choice. Lots of fresh meat, vegetables, pasta dishes and the desserts were exceptional. Cheese toasties, fresh fruit were available as well. The only thing I felt was missing was a better berries selection for breakfast. There were no strawberries, blueberries or blackberries which would have added a better variety, but we didn’t go hungry! It’s just a personal choice. My only slight criticism of the restaurant would be the outside seating area. It was far too hot to sit outside so maybe a sheltered canopy or more fans would make it more comfortable. We ate inside every other night but we didn’t mind as it was lovely and cool. Tables were set as quickly as possible and lots of choice of wines. We would have preferred to sit outside to eat if it was a bit cooler. The drinks at the resort were amazing. The cocktails are all made fresh to order and the drinks menu is vast. I was very impressed compared to previous resorts we’ve stayed in, in Turkey. I highly recommend the pinacolada’s and mojitos. For lunch there is a jacket potato stand, the potatoes are lovely and a great choice of toppings available. There is a cafe with air-con which is lovely to have a cool down, with lots of cakes and ice creams to choose from. All were delicious. Branded ice creams available throughout the resort as well. The cappuccinos are amazing and the best I have tried in Turkey so far. There are crepes and waffles available, all made fresh in front of you. The buffet was lovely for lunch, so was the beach front cafe. All good service and plenty of choice. Pizza, fresh fruit, pasta. All delicious. The pool areas are clean, and are all warm water. Plenty of sunbeds. Towels available. There is a cold water plunge pool as well! The adult only area is exceptional and my most favourite part of the resort. You can scan drinks and get them delivered to your sunbed which is an amazing service. It was so relaxing and you feel a world away from your normal life. All drinks arrived quickly. There is a water aerobics class available which is lots of fun. The entertainment at night was good but would of liked to see some more live singers rather than dance acts each evening. Mini disco for the children. Overall the entertainment was good. Our children enjoyed it. They also did karaoke which was fun to watch. Lots of tables to enjoy drinks after your meal. The one thing that made our holiday that extra special were the amount of cats living on the resort. They are so well cared for by staff, lifeguards even giving them water. Our children absolutely loved the cats and kittens. We fell in love with a black one which we named ‘shadow’. We were really sad to leave him behind and say goodbye. It’s so lovely to see that the resort welcomes the cats and care for them, leaving them free to roam and socialise with guests. I hope this is something that will continue to happen at this resort, especially being an animal lover myself. Overall we have had an amazing stay, the resort is beautiful, the cats are beautiful and everything else was excellent. We couldn’t really fault anything at all. We will definitely look to return again in the future."

"Just came home from a week at Ali Bey, this is the first place the whole family have agreed they would return to. We always do five star all inclusive, normally in Greece or Cyprus. The welcome was fast and reception is lovely. The guys on the buggy’s are lovely and will drive you around the resort if you need them. The room was beautiful, spotlessly clean, comfortable big beds, great shower, jacuzzi bath, free mini bar, tea and coffee, gowns and slippers and a great size for 4 people. The grounds are stunning and so well maintained. The pools are beautiful so clean. To note there is a struggle for sun loungers by 10am at the pool and on the beach. The adults pool is very relaxing. The cocktails and alcohol are amazing and the staff are wonderful. Good coffee. The food is very good, cake shop, crapes, waffles, jacket potatoes are very good. Beach is lovely and clean, beach restaurant and bar are really good. The main buffet restaurant was great, food is very good, a note to management, your staff are amazing but it can be a struggle for guests to find a table at peak times, our longest wait was only a couple of minutes though. We had a spa Hamman and massage expensive but excellent. Gym is nice! It is worth visiting the bizarre and we had a day trip through our rep for Whitewater rafting and buggies. This was very good and good value for money. The entertainment was brilliant always something going on, out of the 7 shows we saw 5 were amazing. The singers were good, the beach bar party was excellent. The art day, games, massive inflatables for kids. We met some lovely friends with our kids 11 and 15 but just to be aware the hotel heavily caters to Russian and German guests. I just smiled and greeted everyone, queued and held doors and was mostly ignored 😂 staff are amazing friendly though."
