"We stayed at this hotel last year and had a fantastic experience. That is why we decided to return this year. Unfortunately, this year’s stay was a major disappointment.
We arrived on 18 June 2026, and already from the second day we had to start complaining about the poor housekeeping standards in our room. The room was not cleaned as expected. On several occasions, we were provided with a duvet without a duvet cover, and the duvet itself had several stains that appeared to be urine stains. Used coffee cups and glasses were left behind instead of being removed, and the overall level of cleanliness was far below what one would expect from a five-star hotel.
The standards in the hotel’s public areas were also disappointing. Children were using the 16+ pool area despite this not being permitted. There was litter in several areas, and in the spa section we found the sales staff to be extremely persistent. We were repeatedly approached with offers for treatments and services, which became intrusive and took away from the sense of peace and relaxation that guests expect in a spa environment.
The most serious incident during our stay involved my daughter. During dinner, she had taken a small amount of food back to our room, as she had done on previous evenings without any objections from the staff. On this occasion, however, a security guard ran after her and demanded that she return the food to the restaurant. He spoke to her in a harsh and intimidating manner in front of other guests. My daughter became extremely upset, started trembling, and was close to tears. She felt humiliated and embarrassed. The incident affected us so deeply that we spent several hours trying to resolve the matter and did not get to sleep until three o’clock in the morning.
Throughout our stay, we raised our concerns repeatedly with Guest Relations, but the issues were never properly resolved. Eventually, we requested a meeting with the hotel manager. We were informed that he was not on the premises and that we would be contacted if he arrived. After waiting for a considerable time without hearing anything, I went to the reception desk myself and insisted on speaking with him. Suddenly, it turned out that he was available after all.
At the same time, I would like to commend the restaurant waiters. They were consistently friendly, welcoming, and service-minded. In particular, on our final evening, several members of the restaurant team provided excellent service, which we greatly appreciated.
It is also worth mentioning that the hotel is marketed as an international five-star resort, yet very few employees spoke English. Communication was conducted mainly in Russian and Turkish, which made it difficult to seek assistance and resolve the issues we encountered.
As compensation for the numerous problems we experienced during our stay, we were offered a single imported drink. Considering that the hotel operates on an all-inclusive basis and taking into account the seriousness and number of the issues we reported, we found this compensation entirely inadequate.
In conclusion, this hotel does not meet the standards that one would reasonably expect from a five-star property. Our experience this year was in stark contrast to the excellent stay we enjoyed previously, and we are left deeply disappointed by both the conditions we encountered and the way our complaints were handled.
