"This is my honest review of the resort, based on an 11-day stay in mid-June 2026.
The night transfer from Antalya Airport took us exactly 1.5 hours (we were the first guests dropped off by the coach). The hotel is located next to a river, which sounds nice; however, the river is dirty. Within a few minutes' walk from the hotel, there is a pharmacy, a few clothing markets, and, a little farther away, a Migros supermarket. A bigger bazaar/outlet and Selanya Dolphinarium are approximately a 10-minute walk in the opposite direction.
The hotel itself is huge. The recreational area leading to the sea and the sandy beach is impressive. To get there, you have to go through a tunnel beneath the highway. Overall, the resort creates a fantastic first impression—a real "wow" effect. Elegant illuminated marble finishes, modern lighting, loads of trees and various plants, glass elevators, numerous pools of different sizes and depths, several beach bars, an indoor pool, a gym, and many other facilities all contribute to a luxurious atmosphere.
As a whole, the resort is clean and generally well maintained. By mid-June, the hotel was already operating at high occupancy. Most guests were from Russia and Poland. There were often some queues at the bars. From time to time also queues for certain dishes in the restaurants (and it was not a peak holiday season yet). I can only imagine how crowded it becomes during July and August.
Sunbeds cannot be reserved before 10:00 a.m., which is great (there are notices attached to the umbrellas). Despite this, we never had any difficulty finding sunbeds, because the resort is huge and offers plenty of them. However, the loungers are positioned close together, giving guests no privacy.
The swimming pools and slides are open really long-until 6:00 p.m., while the infinity pool overlooking the sea remains open until midnight and is beautifully illuminated at night.
Whether you'll enjoy this hotel depends largely on what you're looking for. This is definitely a family resort. If you value peace and quiet, booking a room in the VIP Zone is definitely worth considering.
Upon arrival, guests receive a QR code that provides detailed information about every part of the hotel, opening hours, entertainment schedules, and other useful information. It's a very convenient solution.
There are plenty of daily activities, including foam parties, water aerobics, darts, pool games, volleyball, karaoke, bingo, Zumba, live music, evening pianist performances, daily shows in the amphitheatre, and much more.
The resort is a paradise for children,as offers numerous water slides, a funfair (included in the all-inclusive package), ice cream available from freezers and at the beach snack bars, a mini disco, etc. There are also PAID attractions: an adventure park, a zip line, a surfing simulator (for adults and children aged seven and above), rides on electric vehicles, popcorn, candy floss, traditional Turkish ice cream, fried potatoes, freshly squeezed juices, slushies, etc.
My child said, would love to go to this hotel again.
One feature we personally didn't enjoy was the mini zoo. It looked neglected and dirty. Most of the peacocks had damaged or missing tail feathers, and I genuinely felt sorry for the animals being kept in such a small enclosure. The kids' club also appeared worn out and not particularly inviting.
The food selection at the restaurants was extensive and varied, although it never truly impressed me. Some dishes changed daily, while others were served every day, which made me wonder about leftovers and how fresh they really were. Nevertheless, nobody is likely to go hungry here.
During our stay, whole prawns, fried calamari, and sushi were served on few occasions. For picky eaters there was always spaghetti, pizza, French fries, chicken nuggets, roasted chicken drumsticks, hamburgers, and similar dishes.
The fruit selection included bananas, apples, pears, sliced oranges and grapefruit, nectarines, peaches (which were unfortunately often sour and underripe), and watermelon.
The desserts served in the main restaurants were rather disappointing, but the cakes and pastries in the hotel's patisserie were excellent and definitely worth trying.
We never used the main restaurant for lunch because the beach snack bars offered more than enough food. They served chicken döner, pasta, pizza, hamburgers, chicken drumsticks, loads of salads, tortillas, fruit, churros, waffles, and much more.
One useful tip: the snack bar near the dolphin mural serves burgers made with real chicken breast fillets rather than processed chicken patties similar to those used by McDonald's.
Personally, I didn't enjoy the cocktails at the resort, but that's simply a matter of taste. I rarely drink alcohol, so others may have a different opinion.
The staff promoting massages, photo sessions, and other extra services were never pushy. If we declined, they politely walked away.
The lifeguards seemed attentive. During our stay, I personally witnessed them responding quickly to two separate incidents.
One important safety issue concerns the blue funnel water slide. It ends in a pool that is 180 cm deep, not 127 cm as some people may assume. While the depth is marked on the ground, I think there should also be a clearly visible warning facing the sunbed area. Someone who cannot swim and fails to notice the existing markings could easily find themselves in danger.
The biggest disappointment of our entire stay was the cleanliness of the restaurant seating areas (especially open air ones) Although the hotel generally appeared clean, the tables and chairs in the restaurants often discouraged us from enjoying our meals. They were usually wiped quickly with the same cloth and frequently remained sticky.
Available tables were often missing cutlery, forcing guests to walk around looking for it themselves. In my opinion, the restaurant is understaffed.
Most chair cushions were heavily stained and clearly hadn't been properly cleaned for a long time. These weren't fresh stains but accumulated dirt. During our entire 11-day stay, finding a chair with a clean cushion was almost impossible. The same applied to the velvet armchairs in the patisserie. The stains shown in the attached photos clearly weren't recent;it was built-up dirt. Upholstery cleaning could easily have been carried out overnight.
I'm also attaching a photo of the toilet next to the patisserie, where the wallpaper was peeling off the wall. Is this really what you would expect from a five-star hotel?
The drinking glasses at the beverage stations and coffee corners were often not properly cleaned. I always inspected each glass before using it, although maybe other people don't pay attention.
Unfortunately, I am prone to think, that poor hygiene might be responsible for the stomach problems that ruined part of our holiday. We suffered from diarrhoea for two days, followed by another three days of abdominal discomfort. Worth to mention, that it was our fourth holiday in Turkey, and we had never experienced anything similar before. My son is a very picky eater, so in his case it could not be a result of overeating or mixing different food.
We ended up buying medication from the nearby pharmacy, and fortunately the prices were reasonable.
Regarding housekeeping, I deliberately left some hair under the shower to see when it would be cleaned. It remained there until the tenth day of our stay.
The room itself looked good at first glance, but a closer inspection revealed numerous imperfections. Personally, this wasn't a major issue because I mainly use hotel rooms for sleeping. However, I'm attaching photos because these details may matter to guests, especially those paying a high price for their stay.
The carpets in the hotel corridors were also noticeably dirty.
Another downside for me was the lack of designated smoking areas. On several occasions, as non-smokers with a child, we had to put up with someone smoking right next to us. Some guests may not mind this at all, while others may find it as an issue.
Finding a table at peak times, especially outdoors, was often a struggle. And once we finally found one, the previously mentioned dirty chairs certainly didn't improve the dining experience.
Finally, a few words about the sea. In my opinion, the water wasn't particularly clean. At first glance it looked fine, but in the right light a visible film could be seen floating on the surface. Small pieces of plastic and foil were also scattered along the beach, particularly noticeable in the evening, and these are visible in the attached photographs.
Overall, I have very mixed feelings about our stay. Some aspects were excellent, while others were quite disappointing. For that reason, I've tried to write a fair review, highlighting both the hotel's many strengths and its shortcomings. Some readers may consider the issues I've mentioned to be minor details, while for others they may be unacceptable.
The attached photographs are included as evidence supporting the points raised in this review."
