"Went for a 77th Birthday celebration, the family ( 3 daughters & their mother) stayed on the top floor as there was 2 double beds. I had paid in advance €50 for birthday decorations/ bottle cava wine! & a later check out which was 1pm. As my room was downstairs ( on my own) I wanted to see the mums face when she entered her room with her family, I felt so embarrassed as there was confetti all around the bed (2days not cleaned ) standard balloons scattered on the bed & a plastic streamer from the main light which stretched to the 2 bedside lights . (not what I expected at all especially for what I paid) . Disappointed! We then asked for another room as the 77 year old lady was finding it very difficult due to knee pain etc but we were told the only room that they had for 4 people was that one on the top floor, under no circumstances was there any offer of other rooms to accommodate their customers, so I gave up my room so not to see the mum struggle at least 2-3 times a day when exiting/ entering her room . There was no compassion, customer service not to mention the understanding from one foreign young lady on reception, not friendly at all or helpful, the receptionist on arrival was completely different, complete opposite to her colleague. Coffee machine did not work in the room on top floor & the mattress were too soft in both rooms, not comfortable at all . Shame as it’s a nice hotel."

"Positioned between Centraal and Jordaan this is a good position to explore both and get to the main museums. Helpful staff with complimentary snacks and coffee in the lobby. Very clean rooms and super quiet."

"Good location, tired apartment. Lots of good things about the hotel. We were on the top floor. Lovely view, excellent area. Complimentary coffee & water. Very spacious. The apartment was just grotty though. Dirty windows, stained carpet and sofas, broken lampshades, broken door handle. It wouldn’t take much to make it nice."
