"My family (4 adults and one teenager) stayed at the Rosa Solva for two nights in the third week of June 2026. The hotel has an annex of rooms (about a one minute walk from the hotel entrance) and we stayed in three of the rooms. The hotel is located about a 10 minute walk from Saint Marks Square so if that is important to you, it is convenient. The weather was extremely hot (in the 90's) and the air conditioning in the rooms worked very well. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and very quiet at night (important to us). The staff was very accommodating and coordinated arrangements to have a porter deliver our luggage (seven pieces) to a water taxi in order to get us to the airport timely. (200 euros for taxi and $50 the porter; trust me, well worth the money. Indeed if you arrive in Venice with more than one piece of luggage, engage a porter; hauling the luggage up and down the steps of the bridges in the heat is no fun). Even though the hotel does not provide a breakfast (and the coffee arrangements in the rooms were not the best), there are, of course, plenty of eating options near the hotel."
